"mmksparbud, post: 68505375, member: 297518"]1. You've got to be kidding!! You dismiss the language of the bible as it was written?? The Jews called for the crucifixion of Christ and that makes the Hebrew language that the bible was written in of no value??--Without that language you would have no bible!! Moses was Jewish, Jesus was a Jew, all the first disciples were Jewish--That is a remarkably bigoted, non-Christian statement, and totally foolish. Do you honestly believe that bible was written in the Kings English???
I don't dismiss the language of the Bible as it was written but I do NOT follow the Jewish Religion. Your views are the same as the Bible tells us that ancient men could NOT understand Dan 12:4 until the last days of this world. That's the man made Religion I oppose.
2. I did not quote that verse because I really have no interest in that verse as it pertains to creation week!
You don't seem to know that EVERY verse in the Bible is referring to God's complete History of His 7 Days as written in the first 34 verses of Genesis. It is referring to the events of the present 6th Day/Age, the Day of the Flood, the Day of Salvation, and the Day of Judgment.
3. No, I am not Jewish, I am Hispanic and German with a little English mixed in---if that matters. I am studying the bible and using the Jewish translation ALSO as it was the original language it was written in and that is what the translators also do--including those that did the KJV--didn't you know??
Of course I knew BUT the men who interpreted those words had NO idea what they meant, so neither do you, since you follow those ancient men's Religion/Theology.
4. The flood can prove nothing to those who do not believe in it. It is creation week, simply being the record of the work of God's creation, states that God created man, not that he evolved from apes. For those who believe in creation, that is all we need to prove it. For the evolutionists---nothing in the bible proves anything to them as they do not believe in it. Christians have been refuting evolution since its inception, except until lately when some creationists are believing that God started the evolutionary process, which is not something I believe in. We are STILL on day one of the creation week--should we jus jump ahead to day 3 now? OK by me.
No, since Today is the 6th Day. We live Today at Gen 1:27 because God (The Trinity) is STILL creating Adam (Heb-mankind) in His Image which is in Jesus Christ. The Prophecy of Gen 1:28-31 will NOT happen until AFTER Jesus returns to rule and reign for a thousand years on this Planet. At that time, Jesus will change all living creatures into vegetarians. Gen 1:30 You can read of the fulfillment of this PROPHECY in Isaiah 11:1-7 The end of the present 6th Day is FUTURE.
5-6. You keep saying that the word "dissolved" means that the world was utterly gone--no it wasn't it was destroyed by water, but did not dissolve into nothing. The ark landed on mountains that were still on this earth--you said that earth was dissolved into nothing and God created a new one---nothing of the sort is stated in the bible. Noah waited for the dry land to appear, but waited on an existing mountain top. This world will be burned up when He returns. and remade then.
False since ll Peter 3:10 tells us that the present Cosmos will be burned. I've told you before that the 3rd Heaven is the object of the Creation and the home of ALL Christians after this lost and dying world is totally destroyed in Fire. Jesus told us this:
Jhn 14:2 In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Why would Jesus prepare a place for us in another Heaven and then burn this Heaven and remake the Earth which crucified Him? It doesn't compute and cannot be shown Scripturally but it is the ancient traditional view of some Religions. Amen?
As I said, I am not Jewish, nor do I follow the Jewish religion, which consisted of animal sacrifices--that was. done away with. I fallow the bible, and I do not follow men's idea's of what religion should be, I try very much to stick with what the bible says, which does not make one bit of sense with the things you are saying. These ideas are totally manmade, have no basis in scripture. It is taking scripture and twisting it to suit your present days ideas of how to reconcile the biblical account with evolution. That is all this is. Not the word of God, but how to twist things around to make it seem more like evolution and the word of God are one, not just following the word of God. I do not believe in evolution, it is not biblical. However, this is, so far, still a free country and you can believe anything you want. I believe in science conforming to the word of God--it is totally out of the realm of scripture to insist that the 6 day creation is still going on---It's still day one we are discussing and you bring in so much stuff that is not supported biblically that it makes no sense whatsoever and we can't even get to day 2!
Everybody knows the end of this world is by fire--and that has nothing to do with creation week! And certainly nothing to do with the flood! We were created vegetarian, that was the ideal. The ideal which we will be returned to. The eating of meat only happened after the fall. And that is what we will be again after Christ returns, and not after the 1000 years, but before. We will spend those 1000 years with God in His heavenly home, which does not include the killing and eating of any of His creation. This world will be purified, cleansed by fire and the city will be placed on this remade earth--Christ reclaiming what was His creation--nothing will rob Him if His creation--It is His and we will be changed, in the twinkling if an eye, when Christ returns for His own. This world is Christ's---nothing will take it from Him. The 1000 year reign is in the House of God, where He has it is now, waiting for us. It will descend on this earth, and when it does, it will be after the destruction of all the wicked. This is the rest of the land that was in the Jewish religion. They were to rest the land every 7th year--this was instituted by God, not man. This earth will have it's Sabbath rest for that 7th part of the age of the earth.
(Lev 25:2) Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.
(Lev 25:3) Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
(Lev 25:4) But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
(Lev 25:5) That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.
(Rev 22:18) For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
(Rev 22:19) And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
(Rev 22:20) He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
(Rev 22:21) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
