Peace in Christ.
Avoid those who are following in the footsteps of Judas…. who are causing divisions among us and teaching things that they ought not be (their codified handwritings of the commandments of men) for money’s sake.
They “salute” us with a feigned “kiss” rather than a genuine one.
Rom 16:16-18 KJV
(16) Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.
(17) Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
They salute us with feigned words (with the flattering lips)….preaching good words and fair speeches…in order to deceive us into going to their “church” and being enslaved to their church handwritings of ordinances (dogmas). They want us to serve and worship their handwritings in order to take advantage of us….make merchandise of us.
(18) For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Through covetousness shall they with feigned words (coming with a flattering “kiss”) make merchandise of us.
2Pe 2:3 KJV
(3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
This is what Judas had done….and many (a “great multitude”) are following in his footsteps.
They (the “great multitude” of preachers) come with “swords”….causing divisions among us.
They come with “staves”….which means “timber” or articles of wood. Their teachings of their codified church handwritings are dead teachings….dead wood cut down from the forest so-to-speak. Dead wood “burns” us up when we keep and serve them rather than serve God and His commandments. They come from the church scribes....the chief priests and elders of the people.
Mat 26:47-50 KJV
(47) And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
Their “kiss” is not genuine but feigned in order to deceive us into sitting together with them where we suffer the swift destruction (their judgment does not linger nor does their damnation slumbers). We must not sit together with those who are following after “Judas”.
(48) Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.
They want us to “rejoice” (the meaning of “hail”) with them in their things. They rejoice as they get reward for taking the eternal life of Jesus out of our lives.
(49) And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
But what they are doing is coming to take the real Jesus out of lives so that His eternal life is never made manifest in our outer mortal flesh.
We perish with those whose end is destruction….the destruction of the mortal body under the judgment of God which is currently upon them.
(50) And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.
IF we always keep the dying of our Lord in our mortal bodies, they have no power to deceive us.
Luk 22:52-53 KJV
(52) Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
(53) When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
But if we fall "asleep" to doing His righteousness, they can then deceive us and take the eternal life of Jesus from being made manifest in our mortal flesh out of our lives.

(45) Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
(46) Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.
(47) And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
Their end is destruction….destruction of their mortal bodies…and we also are destroyed along with them if we are deceived to go and sit together with them in their destruction. Like Judas, they are minding earthly things….preaching things in order to get paid their 30 pieces of silver.

(18) (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
(19) Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
Judas did “hang”…that is, STRANGLED…himself. His end was destruction.
We must avoid things “strangled”…preachers who are causing divisions among us and preaching things that they ought not be for money’s sake (the “blood money”.

(5) And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged (strangled) himself.
(6) And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
Unto THIS DAY are their congregations called the “field of blood” for they (those who are following after Judas) are destroying those who are being deceived by them into sitting together with them in their “churches”.
(7) And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
(8) Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
They …those who follow Judas and go headlong after their reward….do not care for those they are deceiving as they have no more pity (they burst asunder in the midst and all their bowels gush out…their compassion for those they deceive is emptied from their hearts because of gain).
They “burst” asunder in the middle ….that is, REJOICE in their hearts that they are being made rich....as all of their compassion for those they destroy runs out. They have no compassion anymore in their hearts as it "gushed out".

(18) Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
It is currently a “field of blood” for those who are deceived by them (their smoothness of the tongue) are currently under judgment as their end is destruction (blood of many who are deceived by them is being shed resulting in the mortal death of many). The eternal life of Jesus is not being made manifest in the mortal flesh of those who are being deceived.
ACELDAMA: Of Chaldee origin (meaning field of blood; corresponding to the word “chêleq” which is properly smoothness (of the tongue); also an allotment: - flattery, inheritance, part, X partake, portion. and [H1818]); Akeldama, a place near Jerusalem
….and the word “dawm” ….blood (as that which when shed causes death) of man or an animal.
In other words, their flattering tongues which they use to deceive and reap reward by is destroying the mortal bodies of those who are deceived by their flattering tongues….their flattering lips.
They are cutting off the eternal life of Jesus from being made manifest in those they lead astray from the Way of righteousness.
(19) And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.
No man dwells therein their churches as the eternal life of Jesus is being actively cut off by their deceptive “preaching”.
(20) For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.
Those “possessors” who make merchandise of the “flock of the slaughter” (the field of blood) do not have compassion on those they are deceiving.
They burst in the middle ….that is, they REJOICE (blessed be the LORD for I am rich) in their hearts (the “middle) as they do this.
Their own shepherds pity them not. Their “bowels gush out”….as their hearts have been emptied of all compassion for those they destroy along with themselves. They fall headlong after reward and rejoice in their hearts while there is no compassion in their hearts for those they are deceiving and leading down the broad way to the destruction of the mortal flesh.

The “rich men”….the shepherds who rejoice….live in pleasure on the earth.
They REJOICE in their hearts…they nourish their hearts….but as in the day of slaughter as they condemn and kill the Just One. The Just One is the life of Jesus that is not being made manifest in the outer mortal flesh of those they destroy by their flattering tongues which leads many astray from the path that leads to His life now in this earth.

(5) You have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
(6) You have condemned and killed the just (the Just One); and He doth not resist you.
The Just One does not resist them….not resisting the rich “pastors” who are destroying the “flock of the slaughter” by their deceptive “preaching”.

(7) He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
The eternal life of Jesus is not being made manifest in this earth because of their deceit that is found in the mouths of the “shepherds”. His life is being cut off from this earth. Who can declare His generation as His eternal life is not being made manifest in this earth.
(8) He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
He made His grave with the wicked and with the rich in His DEATHS…plural in Hebrew. The rich pastors have deceit in their mouths while our Lord does not. The rich pastors do violence....killing the sheep...while the Lord comes to give His sheep His life.
(9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
We must avoid “things strangled”…..those who are following after Judas (who “strangled” himself) whose end is destruction .

WE must abstain from “pollutions of idols (images). The “images” are the many church handwritings of the church scribes that bring us into bondage…the serving and worshipping of other “gods” rather than serving and worshipping the true God and His commandments.
We must abstain from “fornication”….the sitting together with them in their congregations.

(20) But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
We must not go and sit together with them in their “churches” where they are preaching things that they ought not be for money’s sake.

(15) Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
If we do, we become “one flesh” with them in their destruction . Their end is destruction of the mortal body….and we join along with them in their destruction when we go and attach ourselves to them.
(16) What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
(17) But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
We sin against our own mortal body when we go and attach ourselves to them. Our mortal body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and belongs to God. We were bought with a price. Let us not let them make merchandise of us and destroy us.
(18) Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

We must come out from among them and be separate…..no longer being attached to the unclean “dead body” that they are calling a “church”. We must flee the “fornication”…the sitting together with those who are preaching things for money’s sake.
