The kingdom of God….that is, the government of God…does not come with “observation”. It does not come with the observation of outward church handwritings of ordinances.
Luke 17:20-21 KJV
(20) And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
His government is within our own hearts as His laws are written there (and not in the external writings of church scribes).
(21) Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
The kingdom….the government…of God is within us. We are in His government when we do His commandments which are written (inscribed) upon our very own hearts. We are His people (per the covenant with Him) when we do His laws that are put in our mind and written in our hearts.
We all have the same laws within our hearts which makes us a people together. Following the many different handwritings of men separate us into “denominations”.
Heb 8:10 KJV
(10) For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
He has delivered us out of the bondage of “Egypt”…that is, out of the world and its “government”….the “rudiments of the world”. We have been delivered out of them and are in His government that is written within.
If we be dead with Christ from those “rudiments” (that is, the founding principles contained in worldly government documents) of the world, why as though living in the world, we are subject to ordinances?
The “ordinances” Paul is talking about are the church governmental documents that churches are built upon in which they govern and judge themselves. We have been delivered from the powers of the world over us , so why are we now going to subject ourselves to church written laws?
Why go to a “church” where they all willingly subject themselves to their external documents….such as church constitutions, church by-laws, statements of faith (dogmas), creeds, etc ….rather than the government of God that is inscribed within?
Col 2:20-22 KJV
(20) Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
(21) (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
We perish with the using of those external writings where we find the commandments and doctrines of men inscribed. They "burn" us in the fire of God's wrath when we choose to do the externally-written commandments of men (their "graven images") rather than the internally inscribed commandments of God.
(22) Which all are to perish with the using) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
Beware of men who spoil us through philosophy and vain deceit….after the “tradition” (transmission…precepts contained in passed down church handwritings) of men ….which are patterned after the “rudiments of the world” …after the outside world’s governmental documents (such as their handwritten constitutions, etc). They lead us away from the age-lasting life that is found in Christ and down the broad way to the destruction of our mortal bodies in the "fire".
Col 2:8 KJV
(8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
We are already COMPLETE IN HIM who is the Head of all principality and power. We have His laws within us. We don't need a church scribe to tell us what to observe and do...things contained in their "principalities and powers"...their handwritings.
Col 2:9-10 KJV
(9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
(10) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
The men who are wanting you to follow their church organized, codified handwritings of ordinances do not hold the Head…the mind of Christ….but are instead vainly puffed up their own fleshly mind, They thought they had seen something in the Scriptures and incorporated some of the external laws into their handwritings.
Col 2:18-19 KJV
(18) Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
(19) And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
They sit in the seat of Moses. They desire to be teachers of the law via their handwritings but they do not understand what they say and what they are affirming of in their handwritings that they want you to observe and do.

(6) From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
(7) Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
The church scribes’ handwritings of ordinances separate us into their “denominations”. “Pharisees” = separatists. They…the denominational churches of fleshly-minded men… shut up the kingdom (the government) of Heaven against us when we subject ourselves to their government rather than God’s government that is within us. They want you to willingly subject yourselves to their "rule"...their government....rather than God's.

(13) But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
