So now that he chose to be a rapist instead of fufilling God's purpose in his life.....I will have him exicuted for rape. My hypothetical policy will punish him in the fullest for what he has done to this hypothetical woman. my hypothetical policy will make sure that he never does this to anyone again. Not only that, but he will not ever harm or try to get custody of of this baby. (remember...This is America and stranger things have happened...lol)
Yes...when it comes to children, I am very Pro-Life. However, when it comes to criminal activity (Like rape and Murder), I lean towards a just punishment like exicution.

I just had an image of an angry pregnant woman punching herself in the gut shoot through my head.loriersea said:Actually, abortion is never murder. Murder is not the crime of taking a life; it is the crime of killing a person with malice aforethought. Abortion fulfills neither part of that (and both parts are necessary). A fetus is indeed alive, but it is not a person, by any rational definition of personhood, until the development of the brain at the very earliest. Under the law, it is definitely not considered a person, and so abortion cannot be considered to be legally murder. And, women don't have abortions with malice aforethought. Women have abortions for many reasons, but I don't think malice towards the fetus is ever one of them.
Except for the part where you're totally wrong.IBIDMT said:You can parse the word murder anyway you want but abortion still takes anothers life.

If the mother waits until the fetus is developed, then it's considered alive, and abortion will only occur in medical emergencies. However, a young, undeveloped fetus is nothing more than a lump of cells, like an arm, or kidney, and so is removable without consequence.
Yeah, infection, etc, so?IBIDMT said:Everything has consequences and I'm pretty sure if you have an arm or kidney removed you would see the consequences. Abortion to has consequences at any stage in the babies development.

If a fetus is a person, why are they not counted in the census? *
Why, when people are pregnant, do they not say "we have 3 children", instead of "we have 2 children and 1 on the way?" *
