CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And when asked about babies who are born alive during botched abortions, the abortion lobby’s witnesses insisted that they should ONLY get life-saving medical care IF the mother and the abortionist want to help them.
(in other words, if the baby is born alive in a failed abortion, and no longer attached to the mother so she is officially no longer pregnant, the abortion lobby's position is that the born infant can still be killed as part of the abortion procedure. A baby, completely outside of its mother can still be killed!)
I want to quote the witnesses directly on that, because it's hard to believe.
Jodi Magee, president of the pro-abortion Physicians for Reproductive Health, said, “We should leave it to [the abortionists] to make those decisions, and we should be leaving it to women to make the choices about their own pregnancies.” When the question was asked again whether babies born alive should get medical care no matter what, Dr. Diana Foster, professor at the University of California-San Francisco’s department of obstetrics, said, “I do disagree.”
That’s right, the abortion industry admitted to Congress that it’s willing to let those sweet little babies born alive struggle for their last breaths on the table or in the trash can until they die.
After decades of telling us that abortion is all about a woman’s right to control her own body, the abortion industry just revealed that even AFTER a child is outside her mother’s body and the “Her body, her choice” excuse no longer exists, they’re still willing to kill that child.
And that ladies and gentleman should put to rest the lie that this is about bodily rights of the pregnant woman. It's about killing an unborn human being.

The abortion issue is clear. In the vast number of cases, a woman is paying a doctor to end the life of something with no higher brain functions, that can't feel pain and shouldn't be classified as a person with rights. The anti-freedom side often tries to argue against this procedure by playing up the emotional rhetoric to a fever pitch and even lying to promote their view:

It's a civil justice hearing on Planned Parenthood. Also is an undercover video of Planned Parenthood and their policy to let a baby just die on the table if it is born alive in a botched abortion. This issue is NOT about bodily rights as the pro abortion advocates try to claim it is. The child is born, separated from its mother and Planned Parenthood and others STILL want to kill the baby. I won't be surprised if some posters here either simply ignore this fact (and won't comment on it) or they will support Planned Parenthood's position to kill the born baby anyway.

You could not be more wrong! Take the case of the seventh commandment which forbids sex outside of marriage. The sexual revolution of the sixties produced the need to legalize abortion, and the result has been the massive slaughter of nearly sixty million innocent unborn children.
And you want be to believe that our human laws are superior to the laws given by Almighty God?

Live Action's Latest Abortion Clinic Undercover Video A Bust
The anti-abortion rights group Live Action released today an undercover video claiming to reveal "illegal and inhuman practices" at an abortion clinic in New York City, and accused a doctor at the clinic of committing murder. The video reveals nothing of the sort, and actually undermines Live Action's baseless allegations that the clinic is performing illegal procedures and endangering the lives of patients.
Live Action and its founder, Lila Rose, have a long, disreputable history of perpetrating hoaxes and concocting false allegations against abortion rights supporters, Planned Parenthood in particular. This latest "undercover video" project is timed to coincide with the trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, a Philadelphia abortion provider facing multiple murder charges resulting from the monstrous and horrific procedures he is alleged to have carried out under the guise of women's reproductive health.
The Live Action video depicts a woman at Dr. Emily Woman's Health Center in the Bronx inquiring after an abortion in the 23rd week of her pregnancy -- a procedure that is legal in New York State. The woman speaks to both a clinician and a counselor at the facility, and the video is edited down to make it appear as though the clinician describes a procedure in which a baby that survives an abortion is killed using a toxic solution.
Based solely on this exchange, Live Action claimed that the doctor who performs abortions at the clinic "has violated" the state's law against murder in the first degree and called on the state's attorney general to launch a homicide investigation. But Live Action edited out from the video the portion in which the clinician makes clear that the situation they're talking about has never happened in her experience and the discussion is hypothetical, and the video shows the counselor explaining to the woman that the doctor would have to resuscitate the baby if that situation did occur.
