But I'm not one to let resentment keep me from answering your question. I think that there are -some- women who abort because of this issue. Others wouldn't change their decision because of it.

The issue is complex and there is not one single 'reason' for a woman to choose abortion. That means there is not one single solution.

Of course it isn't a big issue. They are both completely dealt with by allowing the woman to decide the best course of action.

It -is- a big issue for those who want to completely control women from the instant they become pregnant until they give birth. Then those who assume they have a right to control another human being need to decide how those issues will be handled under their control of women's lives.

For -me-, the issue really truly is about preventing one group of people from assuming they have a right to institute what amounts to slavery over another person. One may well think they have the best of intentions, but it STILL becomes a form of slavery.

None of you want to insist women get paid full salary for work. None of you want to teach your sons that a single mother who CHOSE not to abort is a worthy candidate for a wife. None of you want to insist that safe and reasonably price child care is societies responsibility for those who choose to not abort.

Instead, you want to create laws which are designed to render a woman helpless to anything other than become a breeder to pander to your egos about what is right and wrong.
