In fact lying to such an investigation extent that he offered what looked like a fake apology to Jack Szostak. And fake because he never asked that the videos with his lies in them are still up and still have his lies in them. Why did he not ask that they be taken down?

I am sorry that is too hard to understand. Honesty is a precious commodity in this sciences. When one has been shown to be dishonest, and I can post a video where a chemist takes in context quotes out of one of Tour's videos and shows how he blatantly lied. And please note, Tour knew he had been caught, which is why he gave a weak apology to Szostak. But yet he never took down the offending video. Now I do not know if that is this video or not. Tour still has not made up for his earlier dishonesty. As a result Tour lost all credibility. In the sciences dishonesty is often a career ender. He was well respected and almost certainly has tenure so his rantings and ravings will not cost his job, but he has lost respect. He is no longer an authority.

Now you almost certainly do not have enough of a chemistry education to spot his lies. I know that I did not, but once identified and explained they are obvious to any honest person. And did you watch his video fully yourself? Did he deride someone for claiming various compounds were not sugars or amino acids, or even proteins? Complaing about protocells was almost certainly a lie as well. Creationists do that far too often. For some odd reason they see evolution as a threat to Christianity. In reality it is just a threat to their weak faith. Evolution and abiogenesis only help us to understand how God did it. If he exists.

James Tour who is a scientist and works with molecules and has turned them into robots (Nanotechnology), explains the immense problems of jumping from inorganic to organic matter at the molecular level. He plainly states that if a person "has been taught that simple forms of life have been made, that is a lie".

Oh my! A conspiracy theorist. No, it is not that simple. You are conflating scientists that work for those that are looking for specific results with all scientists. That is not the case for research scientists. Now you may think it is that way because sites such as AiG purposefully hire that sort of scientist. All that shows is why that is a bad way to approach the sciences. Their work suffers incredibly as a result.
