CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Our ancestry with God is based on the experience of repentance and baptism on our part when we are ADOPTED into the family of God. As I am adopted I know what that means. My parents were not my biological parents. God is not my biological parent. He is my Dad because he adopted me into his family.

Evolution is a fairy story so why do you use it to try and impress intelligent people that it is not a fairy story.
Oh by the way, the whole legal system in western civilisation is based on the testimony of what a person saw and heard. Take that away and you have nothing other than circumstantial evidence and as we know circumstantial evidence rarely wins a case.
Unless the prosecution can put someone on the stand who can say I saw him take the money out of the cash register or I heard him say that he was planning to rob a bank he has no case. In fact the prosecution, usually the police or a law enforcement agency will often produce wire taps to prove their case.
So according to you we might as well scrap the legal system as it relies too much on what a person sees or hears. That leaves us with DNA samples and if you can't get one...no case.
It is a pity atheists don't think about what they say before they say it. It would save them shooting from the lip and making themselves look stupid.

Good one Not_By_Chance. Nice to read something that is not complete rubbish. I read in a book I have, a quote from A P.hD. professor who said that Darwin's theory of evolution is so implausible to some ridiculous power of infinity. Just shows you doesn't it how duped the atheists are who believe it to be the gospel even a false one.
And here we are basking in the sunshine of God's love and forgiveness looking forward to eternal salvation and all they can do is struggle all the time to prove that God doesn't exist to people who know that he exists. All I can say is Doh!

We don't need first hand accounts anymore!! Another opening your mouth and putting your foot in it. The last four times I have been to court (before I retired I taught law) every case had a parade of people who gave testimony as to what they saw and heard. The detective agency also gave evidence as to DNA but not in every case.
In fact, in all my years involved in the legal system, I have not come across ONE case where a person was convicted on DNA alone as the courts know that DNA samples can get mixed up, or changed or be insufficient evidence that can be challenged.
Whilst it is fairly conclusive in most of the cases in which it is used, it is not foolproof so wake up to yourself and stop muttering mumbo jumbo just to prove you are right and everyone else is wrong because to not put too fine a point on it, you rantings and ravings are getting tiresome.
