Yes, he would know he would disobey, but he wouldn't know it is wrong to disobey.
BTW, there were 2 laws of God:
1)leave your father and mother and cleave unto your wife and multiply and replenish
2) do not partake of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil.
Adam had to choose: which law of God do I prefer to obey?
1)the first one - leave your father and multiply and replenish but disobey the second law
or
2)to obey the second law but then to disobey the first one.

Very good. That is the big difference between now and then.
Adam loves his wife and he did not know what death is.
I also love my wife, but I now know what death is.

I want to be as smart as he is.

Adam wanted to leave his father and his mother and to be with his wife so he could obey the first commandment of God - multiply and replenish the earth.

What does "leave" mean for Adam? Does Adam live with God in one house?
The application is not appropriate.

Adam lived in presence of God. He left place where he could be in presence of God. So, Adam left his father and his mother and followed his wife.

Not a good one.
Adam does not want to leave the Garden if he doesn't have to.

Adam does not want to leave the Garden if he doesn't have to.
But he wanted to obey this law of God - multiply and replenish the earth with the wife which was given him by God. That is what he WANTED.

In that sense, Adam is not possible to leave God and live by himself. I think Adam knows that.

Adam chose to leave place where He can be in presence of God and followed his wife. He chose death(separation from God).
Adam died(separation from God) the same day.

So, Adam chose exactly what God wanted him to choose.

You may have distorted the story.
Eve sinned. What should Adam do?
He might have waited for a few moments to see if Eve is "dead".
We do not know if God "wants" them to do this or not. I say God does not want. But God knows they will.

I don't think Adam knows what death mean.
He might still not know until he saw the first dead animal.
Or, he knew after he took the fruit.

Adam is not a dumb. He surely not want to leave the Garden and God if he could save Eve.

Adam didn't know that Eve sinned. He couldn't see disobeying of God as something wrong/evil. His eyes were not opened yet.

He didn't know what death was. He didn't know what he had to wait for. Eve already knew something Adam didn't know yet. She already ate the fruit. She have told him something. Adam trusted God.

When God says: DO something" it is because He WANTS us to do this.

Adam knew that God TOLD him to leave his home(parents) and cleave to his wife and multiply and replenish the earth with her. Adam chose TO OBEY this commandment.

You put multiple arguments into one. So I only pick up one.
God is not parents of Adam. That particular one does not apply to Adam.

It is very possible that Adam would never wanted to leave the garden if Eve didn't tell him that she already ate fruit.
God gave two laws:
1)multiply and replenish the earth
2)do not partake of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil.
After Eve told Adam that she partook of the fruit, Adam had to decide: which commandment of God do I prefer to keep now?
1)to multiply and replenish the earth by following Eve, who already knew what Adam didn't know yet and probably told him what she knew.
or
2)not to eat the fruit.
Adam chose TO OBEY the first commandment of God - multiply and replenish the earth.
He have made great choice. Exactly what God wanted him to choose.

God is Father of SPIRITS of all flesh. So, Adam is SPIRIT SON of God.
But, let's pretend that you are correct and God is not Father of Adam's spirit. Still, Adam chose to cleave to his wife and to obey the first commandment of God to multiply and replenish the earth.

After Eve ate the fruit, why should Adam also eat it in order to keep the commandment of multiply?

Adam loved God. He wanted to obey ALL His commandments. But he couldn't in that situation. He chose the one that was more important.
Adam loved his wife. He wanted to be with her. He cleaved to his wife, they were one flesh.
"It is NOT good for a man to be alone", - said God.

Right after Eve ate the fruit, how did Adam know that he can not obey both rules?

So, Adam wanted to obey all God's commandments. But Eve told Adam that she is going to die this day and he will stay alone and he won't be able to obey the first commandment - to multiply and replenish the earth.
Adam knew:
1)this Word of God - Eve would die the same day she ate the fruit
2)He loved God and his wife who was GIFT FROM GOD or BLESSING FROM GOD to him.
3)Adam wanted to obey all God's commandments.
4)Because Eve already ate the fruit Adam was left with two choices:
a) to obey the second commandment and live in the garden forever alone and won't be able to obey the first commandment of God - multiply and replenish the earth.
b) to obey the first commandment of God - cleave to his gift and blessing from God and multiply and replenish the earth.

Adam chose to obey the first commandment of God. He knew he will die the same day with his wife(gift from God), flesh of his flesh and bone of his bone.
Adam knew that he will be like Gods who know good and evil. Later, God confirmed that this is TRUE. God said: man became like of Us(Gods).
Adam and Eve died the same day - they were cast out from the presence of God(spiritual DEATH).
Later, some thousands years ago God Father sent His Son to atone for sins of Adam and Eve. Now Adam and Eve have what they never could have in the garden - ETERNAL LIFE. Now they are like Gods in heaven. Who cares about the garden were there is was no eternal life, no eternal progression that only Gods have.
