I watched the whole thing unfortunately, 1 hour of my life wasted. Interviewing some random college kids doesn't "refute" a scientific field of study. You gotta do science for that.

For the rest of the people here that don't want to waste their time here is a fitting summary:

I am curious why you need someone else's video to make points you believe in? Why can't you discuss the points?

I mean, no one is asking you to get a science degree (although it would be a good thing).

I'm fascinated by this penchant of many creationists to think that posting someone else's hours and hours of video will be compelling in any way. ESPECIALLY if the poster doesn't bother to actually even try to discuss the points.

How lazy does one have to be to dump a bunch of video from someone else out and say "QED"?

Oh come on, unless you're expecting me to break into his video editing facility to steal a bunch of raw footage, you're just being obstinate.

I know you don't want to believe what you're being fed is a biased, carefully edited, and likely non-representative picture of discussions with non-believers. But hey, it's the reality.

You want to find out what a real response to Ray's interviews would look like? Try posing some of his questions online in an atheism forum or something and see what kind of response you get. Heck, just look at the response you got here.



Then you should know how interviews work, how editing works (and can be used to frame a particular narrative), and so on. Heck, and this isn't even assuming some of the more duplicitous techniques like using 'plants' (i.e. actors) instead of real people.

I really shouldn't need to explain this to you.

I'm down with being lazy. I understand. Sometimes you don't fully understand what you are debating against but it sure does feel like it's wrong, so why not just find something that someone else put together that supports your position and then whine when no one does the work for you to figure out what you actually think about a topic? AND this way you get to post stuff and people will still keep talking about you! Easy peasy!

Now, now, don't get upset just because you're not getting the reactions you wanted. Being familiar with Ray Comfort's schtick, I can tell you that we're well safe from him disproving anything in the scientific realm. And for that matter I highly doubt his typical apologetics routine would work on many non-believers. It's just downright silly.

YOU make claims about evolution in the form of simply pointing people at SOMEONE ELSE'S video. You don't seem capable of summarizing what it is you actually BELIEVE in the video.

Most of us would gladly engage YOU on a point, but most of us don't have a lot of time to talk to ROY COMFORT. Besides, ROY ISN'T POSTING ANYTHING HERE. You are.

Not really. For one, we don't even know if those people in that purported video are even genuine. Have you verified their identities? Their conversions? Confirmed that they continue to practice the Christian faith to this day?

Look, if you really want to believe that this video is a true representation of discussions with atheists, then believe what you want. But don't be so surprised when you don't get the same sort of reactions in real life that you find in a Ray Comfort video.

You should post specific information from the video that you find compelling. Rather than asking everyone to watch an hour long youtube video.

I'm sure in Grady is just overwhelmed because some of us tend to use multisyllabic words and technical details. It's OK. If someone can't even explain their own position but have to just post someone else's videos anything that requires thought or education to understand is probably indifferentiable from "walls of empty text".

They only need to have better things to do with their time than to spend an hour watching a sleep inducing youtube video. Especially one made by Ray Banana Comfort.

been debating this for over ten years, not lazy. Just balancing a finance site, chores, church, and work.
