Well, I mean, you are contending that there is only one angelic prince. Daniel says that Michael is just one. In fact Michael was delayed because he was fighting a fallen prince.

No mamm. I did not say that. YOU are putting words into my mouth.

I am a Bible person. Been teaching it for 50 + years. All I said was that in the Bible, only ONE angel is called an ARCH angel and that is Michael.

Please.....do the work and study for yourself and do not take my word for this.

The Prophets weren't passive though. When they spoke, it was they who spoke. They ascended into heaven and became members of God's council.
My dear......every man in the Bible, every Prophet of God was a mouth piece for God.

Every word uttered in the Bible came from God!

Colossians 1:16........
"For in him (Christ) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him."

John 1:1-2....
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning."

Jesus is the Word of God and the Christ. Every Word in the Bible was given from Him to man for man to write!!!!

I'm not sure what you mean by that. I've quoted Scripture several times. I just don't typically look up chapter and verse. I quote from memory.
As to the new coming in Christ, that is true. But I don't see what that has to do with a new heavens and earth. We are still living on the old earth andthe saints are still residing in the old heaven. We know this because there is still a Temple there, unless Christ destroyed it when he cleansed it. I suppose that's possible.

As do I. But before I post anything for anyone to read, I VALIDATE that with my Bible.

Yes we live on the earth.

Yes there will be a New Heaven and a New Earth which comes after the 1000 year rule of Christ.

Yes there is a Temple in heaven.

In Revelation 3:12 Christ says.....
“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.”

arch is the same as prince.

You are arguing "Semantics" to validate your thinking.

No mam. That is not the case. "Price" means......RULER!.

If we follow that rule then consider how many times the word "Prince" is used in the Scriptures where is describes despots and killers.

I do not view this conversation as a contest.

I am hoping that I might have educated you a little in the Scriptures.

The Bible says in Rev. 21:4.......
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning or crying or pain”.

There are two valid interpretations of this verse. The first and most obvious one is that we will be free from all sorrow when we get to heaven after our race here on earth. The second is that we can have a glimpse of this experience right here on earth before we get to heaven. This is possible because the Holy Spirit living in all believers brings the realities of heaven right into us. Consequently, we can live in heaven right here on earth.

Christian doctrine 101 says that "PRACTICALLY" you are here on the earth living your life.

"POSITIONALLY", as a Christian you are IN Christ and Christ is sitting at the right hand of the Father.

So then.....as a Christian we are spiritually where Jesus the Christ is!
You mean right there with all those saints in heaven who are spiritually where Christ is? I think you're catching on. That's why we don't have to "conjure the dead" you know. We meet them in Christ (Hebrews 12:23).

Which apparitions are you referring to? There can be a lot of variation here between what is common belief versus what the Church has formally approved, I think.
Our Lady of FatIma, where Jesus tells us to have mercy on the poor heart of our mother. Also Our Lady of Salette.

I do not mean to be argumentative with you so please forgive me.

It does seem to me that you are posting a lot of "What I think" stuff and not really Bible truth.

I would suggest that you use the phrase...."IMHO" more.

Colossians 2:10.........
"And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all rule and authority."

2 Corth. 5:17..........
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
I posted a lot of Bible truth and you've not addressed a single passage. So I'm not sure what good it does....

A solid example from Scripture please.

We do not "conjure" the dead because God told us not to.

Why?

It serves no purpose.

Another reason is that people called mediums are charlatans and thieves, using bits of inside or generic information take advantage of a grieving person by making them believe that they can actually communicate with the dead. At worst, they are making the proverbial "deal with the devil."

This is an honest question. Are ya'll able to recognize the verses I cite? I don't have chpt and verse memorize and it's difficult to open up another window since I am working from a phone. But I can wait until I go to church on Saturday or Sunday and post from a tabletop computer then.

What is Michael as Prince ruling over?

In the Hebrew, Gabriel means “God is my strength”.

We see in Daniel that Michael comes to strengthen Gabriel.

Why then should Michael, being the archangel, be the one who can strengthen Gabriel? And what does Michael mean?

It means “One who is like God”. The Scripture further tells us that Michael “the archangel” in Jude 1:9 had the right over Moses’ body after death, so that the devil could not prevent him from being raised to life.

In connection with the resurrection, Gabriel calls him in Daniel 12:7-8....
“the Great Prince which stands for the children of thy people”, whose standing up will bring the deliverance and resurrection from the dead.

Daniels "people" were the Jews so then Michael is the Archangel for Israel.

The Scripture declares that Michael is the leader of the battle against the devil, and who prevails in heaven against him (Revelation 12:7-8).

Necromancy is strictly forbidden by the Catholic Church.

What you seem to not realize is by your own admission we are spiritually in heaven with Christ. Isn't that where the saints are? Your view that to ask a saint for their prayers is equivalent to "calling up the dead" would seem to deny in practice what you have stated in principle -- that we are spiritually in heaven with Christ, which is actually where the saints are too. That is why the book of Hebrews tells us that we have come to the spirits of "righteous men made perfect" (Hebrews 12:23). Whether you recognize they are there or not.

You may think it serves no purpose; I can use all the prayers I can get. Especially from those who have been perfected in charity and God's perfect will.

Personally.....and YOU did ask, I would suggest that you use a computer with tabs at the top so that you can open the Scripture, copy and paste it for clarity.

But that is just me and I have no right to say anything about what anyone should do or not do.

Exactly. So I don't understand why you disagree with Enoch teaching that the angels are in charge of our salvation?

Necomany is strictly forbidden by the Bible.

I did not say that calling on dead saints was necromany. I just siad that IMO it is not acceptable and make no sense.

The Bible says that the ONLY advocate with the Father is the man God...Jesus Christ. So what would be the point???

Exactly. So I don't understand why you disagree with Enoch teaching that the angels are in charge of our salvation?

Because I have alrwady said that anything that comes from the Apocrypha is "Occultic".

There is NO SCRIPTURE that says an angel is associated wiith our salvation!!!

So then if it is seen in the book of Enoch then it is HERESY and Blasphemy!
