That's how science is taught in all well-conducted science classes. Why you misrepresent it the way you do hints that you have another scenario which you believe is being unfairly ignored.

No! That's my position on everything from politics to theology and everything in between. Truth is not afraid of genuine critical analysis. Teach kids how to think not what to think. Present evidence and perspective for and against and stay open for original thought that sees the same information differently. It is the key to real progress.
