My point is that at this point the number of people, governments, private companies, public companies, is so vast to be absurd to think at this point that they are all in cahoots and keeping the nature of the shape of the earth a secret. It’s the height of lunacy to be at such a conspiracy theorist level as that.

Again, nobody on the FE side has ever actually been able to explain why all these people, governments, public companies, private companies, etc... are actually all in on deceiving the everyday person. It makes utterly no sense.
That number of people is, in all honesty, not as numerous as you would believe... it is proposed to be, as you state, a very large number of people. However, how many do you really think, have been to 70,000 feet and beyond? NOT just observed a video.

Complete "lunacy" would have been for him to come down and proclaim that he saw the flat earth... when the video shows a fake curve....

Just what do you think that this one guy would accomplish other than losing his job, losing viewers to his show...losing any credibility.....

And yet you always talk so highly of Auguste Piccard claiming when he came down that he saw a flat horizon with "upturned edges". Why don't you see "complete lunacy" in that???

With regards to the space tourism, obviously the FE proponents will explain that one of two things are occurring:

Really? "Obviously" you say.. "obviously" the FE proponents WILL blah blah blah..

You have no idea, right, permission, reason or basis for stating what you believe others, who believe totally differently than you do... are going to say..

Thing is.. others will read your "assumptions" and take them as being truth... when in actual fact it is YOU on your OWN, trying to state what others THINK and how they will respond..

Total unwarranted blabber.

With only the FE people left knowing what's going on. Then they can say that bible prophecy was fulfilled in that the entire world has been deceived while they themselves know the truth--told by countless Youtube videos.
Another post of pure speculation with absolutely no basis.

He probably got his prediction from reading posts from you and others who continue with the conspiracy posts on this thread, and all the others on this site. The pattern of reasoning from the FE crowd follows a predictable pattern that's not hard to follow.

It's based on posts that have been made many times. I keep hearing here about how Satan is a liar, and therefore is behind the idea that the earth is round (the assumed "great deception of the last days")--which assumes it's not, by default.

First, it was before the NASA and also before the internet and super fast media..

In fact, I have seen, in places where his quote is presented.. that it is "splained" away as being taken out of context...

It depends, also, if he took it to the level of presenting himself as a FE'er..

The guy in the video... would, and I think you will agree.. been quoted over and over and over by those on the internet, who are flat earthers.. right?

Just like the video of Buzz Aldren, saying that they never went to the moon, is viral right now.

Oh, for goodness sake... we did this before...

I'm glad you remember. Now go back and do some reading instead of expecting people to keep repeating everything.

LOL.... this is hilarous.. you.. now are saying "he probably"...

This is what is wrong with the world... it's built on 1/2 truths, speculation and lies... all of which are presented as truth....

That's just brilliant... LOL.

It may be based on a number of things.... but certainly is not "obvious" and is still certainly "speculation" and unmerited assumption.

For goodness sake.. man up and pick one...... just one....

I've got too much lawn to cut to go back and sort through a bunch of unfounded attempts to debunk the FE... or prove the globe..

SO............................PICK ONE.

A tennis ball doesn't have much mass, and thus, not much gravitational attraction. Therefore, ... it can't hold its water.

The earth does bulge a bit at the equator. Not so much that you can tell, of course.
Still... the water is pulled by the force of the moon... which I cannot even feel... and the earth is spinning at 1000 miles per hour..

Ya... the water just ignores that force?

It may be "viral" because it's edited from a larger video that tells the whole story. But that's what conspiracy theorists do--they take the full story and edit it down to a part that eliminates the truth. Now, how about you take a look at the full video? Start at 10:35 and see if it matches up with your edited version:

I don't expect to get a response about this. What I expect is that you'll just ignore this post and video and continue posting your edited videos that supposedly "prove" what you already believe. It will be one of the numerous times I've shown you how your "evidence" has been shown to be false and yet you'll simply ignore it and pretend it was never shown to you.

That's rich coming from the guy who just posted an edited video of Buzz Aldrin in order to take what he said out of context.

I simply told you to go back and do some reading of what's already been shown to you. That's not hard to understand.

My bad, I was actually assuming that his eyes did not have fish-eye lens contacts in and so that even though the camera footage could have been doctored that his actual eye balls would have not been able to see the curvature of the earth like he so clearly pointed out.

Really? "Obviously" you say.. "obviously" the FE proponents WILL blah blah blah..

If you want to make a small wager, I can't come up with a third option that an FE proponent might suggest as to the truth behind space tourism once it gets under way.

How about you try, once space tourism gets underway, and the people getting off the planes/space ships and declare how amazing it was and how beautiful and round the earth is - what is your response going to be?

From the FE belief system, one of two people must be lying - either the companies in that they're duping the passengers, or the passengers have agreed to get in on the hoax as well, right?

My bet is that they'll harass the passengers like this guy did to Buzz Aldrin.

I sure hope they don't try to convince people to come to Jesus Christ using those tactics. They claim that they can bring people to Christ through a belief that the earth is flat, but tactics like this are beyond the pail.

The force of the moon's gravity is a component of the gravitational force acting on you all of the time. You wouldn't feel it as anything special.

OTOH, large bodies of water do respond to the gravitational forces which act upon them through the tides.

Boy, that guy was annoying ...

He definitely needs to consider "What would Jesus do ?"

At the 1:34 point, he got to find out what someone would do if they gave him what he deserved. :D
