Thanks for the update, Bell, and expanding what your husband is like. I wasn't impressed with Every man's battle either when I read it and thought thru its message.
I do think you are on a good path with not letting his actions drive you crazy and turning it over to God. Tho that doesn't work for everyone and some it causes its own problems. If you can life the way you understand God wants you to live, be confident in that, then maybe there is a way to add a connection to him where he is good. Or as he improves in some area, add an intimacy around that victory of his. That could be a very slow process. If he makes progress a little bit at a time as you indicate he has done with the money issue, then over the years a lot of good things might happen. Just an other thought. You choice if its meaningful to you.
