All that you said or seem to say or imply about Elihu,What isn't right. Jeff?
All that you said or seem to say or imply about Elihu,
and thus also whatever 'shane' said if that's where you got it from.
Very wrong..... Yahweh did not tell Job to pray for Elihu , nor indicate anything Elihu said was out of order, did He ?
Thus, it was a more grave sin to claim Elihu was what you said, for you and for shane both.God completely ignored Elihu, never mentioning him by name.
God did the same with Job's wife.
There are some false commentaries that make claims like that.Jeff, if you're speaking of Elihu, he blatantly LIED about Job and accused him of what he did not do, amongst other things.
Thus, it was a more grave sin to claim Elihu was what you said, for you and for shane both.
Just like it would be a more grave sin to claim Job's wife was something she was not, if you did.
There are some false commentaries that make claims like that.
Search out the Truth. It is better.
You and shane (apparently from what you posted) made false witness against Elihu.Would you care to elaborate?
And in the meantime, clarify if you are holding Elihu and Job's wife up to a "god-like" status, and thus to criticize or critique or call out what is glaringly "Un-Godly" by either of them, is a "sin"?
Are you saying that it's a sin of "blasphemy" to "examine" them and call out what is found in the "examination"?
This is a "grave sin"?
None of that matters, and your "key" must be faulty if you can justify bearing false witness by using it.Notice when i started this thread.
There is a "key" to understanding the ENTIRE book of Job.
The "key" is like an "anchor" that steadies ones course throughout the entire book of Job, and establishes a "foundation" for understanding it and not getting distracted and following rabbit trails or yellow brick roads during the course of reading it.
Do you know what that "key" is?
You and shane (apparently from what you posted) made false witness against Elihu.
This was well known to me decades ago: (and available from true teachers of Scripture, clearly) >
4. God's Response to Elihu
In 42:7 God looks back over the period of suffering and rebukes Job's three friends,
After the Lord had spoken these words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite: "My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has."
But God does not rebuke Elihu. Why not? Probably because Elihu's words are not in the same class with the words of those three. Elihu's words are true and prepare the way for the final, decisive words of God. (He claims to be guided by the Spirit of God—32:8.)
None of that matters, and your "key" must be faulty if you can justify bearing false witness by using it.
It is still wrong, no matter how often you stated it, if you use it to bring a false witness.I have already stated what the "key" is, earlier, and throughout this thread.
God establishes this "key" in the very beginning of the book of Job.
And He repeats it.
This post seems to be entirely without understanding. I won't and can't at this time address it,As you yourself stated above, God said that His servant Job had spoken what was "right".
If Job had spoken what was "right"?
What was Elihu going on about?
Elihu LIED about Job, falsely accusing him, amongst other things.
His "claims" about being guided by God's Spirit were just that, "claims". He pompously claimed authority to bludgeon and accuse and burden a man who was weak, suffering inexplicably, in more ways than he can count, with yet more burdens, and self-righteousness, and jabs at him.
This alone defines who Elihu was and who sent him there.
It was NOT from God.
Same with Job's wife. She CONDEMNED Job for being a virtuous man, even under all of this horror, and told him, in essence to STOP it, to just curse God and die already.
Satan used not only Job's three "friends", but also Job's wife, and this pompous stranger named Elihu.
Not ONE of them even "prayed" for Job or ministered to him, or offered comfort or encouragement.
Not ONE.
It is still wrong, no matter how often you stated it, if you use it to bring a false witness.
You don't seem to understand what is written in Scripture concerning this at all. It's God's own Words.
On another note, Elihu was Satan's tool to cause even more suffering and inexplicable pain and misery to Job at his very lowest.
He even falsely accused Job and lied about him.
That's downright evil.
His actions speak for themselves.
This post seems to be entirely without understanding. I won't and can't at this time address it,
but if you do seek the Truth and keep seeking the Truth,
Yahweh Promises it will be revealed to you. (opposed to shane, or any source you used that is opposed to God's Word).
You don't seem to understand what is written in Scripture concerning this at all.
I have no idea why, and don't think it will be revealed any time soon, given your language so far.
Two false statements in a row do not make anything right nor true.
ooops - THREE false statements.....
