I knew you wouldn't read it, but failed prophecies is a bit of a problem for someone claiming that fulfilled prophecies are proof for them. And the bible can't even manage to get that right, which is sort of like missing an open goal. I mean, even Nostradamus manages to do as well as the bible, and his book wasn't cobbled together after the fact.

.

Still putting the Bible down. Good Naturalist.

One big problem, the Bible is from God. I was once like you until I met the God of the Bible. Now it is obvious who has big problems in understanding our existence. I know both sides and I would change if I was you! Naturalism is a pit people fall in to.

You really think someone who writes about Biblical Prophecies on Wiki really knows what the Prophecies mean? And do you think they are trying to get you to discredit the authenticity of the Bible?? Shame on them!

We will start with the Destruction of Tyre. And Ezekiel 26:7-14

"7 "For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: From the north I am going to bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, with horsemen and a great army. 8 He will ravage your settlements on the mainland with the sword; he will set up siege works against you, build a ramp up to your walls and raise his shields against you. 9 He will direct the blows of his battering rams against your walls and demolish your towers with his weapons. 10 His horses will be so many that they will cover you with dust. Your walls will tremble at the noise of the war horses, wagons and chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city whose walls have been broken through. 11 The hoofs of his horses will trample all your streets; he will kill your people with the sword, and your strong pillars will fall to the ground. 12 They will plunder your wealth and loot your merchandise; they will break down your walls and demolish your fine houses and throw your stones, timber and rubble into the sea. 13 I will put an end to your noisy songs, and the music of your harps will be heard no more. 14 I will make you a bare rock, and you will become a place to spread fishnets. You will never be rebuilt, for I the LORD have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD."

Tyre is composed of two cities, an Old one and a New one. There is an Island Tyre and a Mainland Tyre.

Nebuchadnezzar did not destroy the city completely, notice how in verse 12, the noun changes from "he" to "they". Other enemies kept destroying this city after Nebuchadnessar, leaving it a wasteland.

Today the Island Tyre is a Fishing Harbor and the Mainland Tyre is a historical site, it has not been rebuilt.

This is just one example Mr. Strawberry.

And Jesus was definitly born of a Virgin!! AHHHH that makes me crazy when I see that on Wiki..pfft

Actually I have nothing against the bible. I think it's a remarkable book. I only give a hard time to those who insist on idiotic interpretations of it.

Lol, that must have been a tense moment. Given what an easygoing chap god is in the old testament, I bet you thought you'd had your chips. You must have been glad when it turned out to be just a dizzy spell after you stood up too quickly.

Now it is obvious who has big problems in understanding our existence.
Yes, I think it's pretty obvious too.

I know both sides and I would change if I was you!
Thank goodness you aren't me. And I say that unreservedly.

Naturalism is a pit people fall in to.
Didn't you used to claim to be a scientist? A claim I find somewhat fanciful, but if true then you must just love your dayjob. "A pit people fall into"....and you spend your entire working life there. No wonder you're bitter.

Lol!! They are failed prophecies to the wiki author who obviously is trying to discredit the Bible!!

Yes I read some of it, it's quite painful to see the lack of knowledge there.

The Bible did get it right, amen!

Try and use good sources Mr. Strawberry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You mean like those who say It supports slavery? geocentrism? witch hunts? the Crusades?

Or do you mean those who say It condones slavery? geocentrism? witch hunts? the Crusades?

Which one? supports or condones?

You don't give me a hard time, you just make a fool of yourself and the sources you use; especially for Biblical Prophecies.

The bible does neither to a modern audience. Only if you make the mistake of assuming the bible is the word of god do these things matter and then you end up getting yourself in a terrible tangle trying to apologise for your deity. Which is the sort of mess you find yourself in all the time.

You sound awfully proud that your all loving god chose to knock out the chunk of your brain responsible for critical thinking and reason just so you could believe in him. What's it feel like to be one of those people he arbitrarily chose to be capable of being saved?

My point? One doesn't just decide to believe. Either you do or you don't, based on your personal experience and/or evidence presented. You're really on a high horse for no reason other than you'll believe in something without reason or evidence. So, how about you stop preaching, champ?

A source that has a name of an organization or an author with a recent updated date and or if the content was verified by another source.

And of course whatever bias it takes should be noted, like Wiki for example.

So Jesus was his own father? That is messed up.

He was his own father, but also himself, who died and came back, to sacrifice himself to himself to somehow make up for the sins of mankind, even though you can still go to hell. What's hard to understand? Makes perfect sense.

Seems like you don't understand much...
