That worm only lives two miles below the surface. We've dug much deeper that that.
Yes; it's just an example of how science is discovering worms underground. I'm sure they live deeper.

I appreciate your answer.
Until you have figured that out, I will consider what you are experiencing to be only in your imagination.

The worms are there to feed on the flesh of the people.
That's religion. Not Christianity. If you were baptized in the Spirit you would be a Christian. Water baptism was carried over from the tradition of Judaism in the early days of the Church age because that's all they knew. Then water baptism faded out as the new life became better known. Baptist have a hard time with this teaching because it embarrasses them in their strongly felt tradition.
If you were baptized in the Spirit you would have become a new person.
Acts 1:4-5The knuckleheads forgot what he said almost immediately and continued to water baptize for quite some time. It is recorded in Scripture that they did. Many do not realize that it was their error in thinking that was being recorded. Not what we are supposed to be doing in the Church age. The Bible does not try to hide the errors of believers.
On one occasion, while he was eating with them,
he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem,
but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you
have heard me speak about. For John baptized with
water, but in a few days you will be baptized with
the Holy Spirit.”
Of course. You tried religion that so happens to use the NT Scriptures to wrap themselves in, like fig leaves.
Not when your reward is all about pleasing the Lord of your life. To know you pleased Him will be your reward. We must understand and have the capacity for love in order to appreciate that statement.
You need to think back as a child when you desired the love of an adult you admired. Jesus said that we must become like little children if we are ever to enter into the Kingdom. That does not mean return to being childish. But rather, childlike, as an adult. Young at heart. Not hard hearted and needing some stimulant to make you feel alive. Not heard hearted in demanding attention to feel you are loved. God in the Spirit is that love manifested through you. If you have it. We first need to be truly born again. Then, to learn to become honest about ourselves before the Lord by not denying the Word of God says we are all no good in our natural selves. It requires discipline and honesty in the truth.
But nothing suggests it is beneath our very feet.
That's a lot of work just to try and prove I wasn't a True Christian™.
Besides, AV said to me, "Once saved, always saved." I trust him more than you.![]()
Paul would.I am curious genez, would you sacrifice your own eternal paradise so that two people you didn't know would be spared from hell (thus, you would suffer in hell in their place).
There is a benefit. If you hold on to something scriptural that you know is true..(it all is).....then eventually the "truth" about what you believe become more evident. This process only works with scripture. Likely because it actually is God's Word to man. The writings are not in their original environment, or even the original language, so the insights available sometimes keep coming for years. My experience anyway.
Really? But nothing suggests it is beneath our very feet.
We've seen how that has worked in the past:
"First, . . . to want to affirm that in reality the sun is at the center of the world and only turns on itself without moving from east to west, and the earth . . . revolves with great speed about the sun . . . is a very dangerous thing, likely not only to irritate all scholastic philosophers and theologians, but also to harm the Holy Faith by rendering Holy Scripture false."--Cardinal Bellarmine, 1615
How is Geocentrism working out?
Like all of science, it's subject to new information. Whimsy, if you will.
Earth, is the center of all life in the Cosmos.
Even an Atom is asymmetrical, so nothing
physical can really be the center of everything.
But all life is here, so this is the center of everything than counts.
There may be black hole at the geographic center of the cosmos
and the surface of it may have an imprint in 2 dimensions of the
rest of the Cosmos. But that's just a theory.
Earth isn't even the center of our own Solar system, much less anything else in the cosmos. This was once thought to be heretical, but now it is a common belief among christians. Why can't evolution be the same?
The "Once" AV refers to is an eternal event. God "always" throughout all time saved you.
All you have to to is accept God's word for it. Salvation is a permanent event.
Only those who reject God's free gift are lost.
Earth isn't even the center of our own Solar system, much less anything else in the cosmos.
This was once thought to be heretical, but now it is a common belief among christians. Why can't evolution be the same?
Evolution is a commonly accepted theory among Christians - worldwide. We just have a big problem with it in 'Murica.
It is not free. It comes at the cost of one's intellectual integrity.
There is a difference between..."evolution takes place..." And... "evolution started it all."
But, why am I arguing? If you can think all your bodily functions and organs are merely the result of evolution? I won't bother.
