It's the center of the only thing that matters to us....us.
And that other thingy...ummm...life.
And that handy stuff.......water.
and that annoying stuff.......air.

Stop with the rationales... please. It only makes them feel justified. The early church made stupid mistakes in interpretation. They also gave us Mary worship. Apparently, you are not aware of this, and have decided to create a rationalization to make it appear to be OK. Please, stop.

Only if you stopped looking.
I have not stopped looking.
Yes, I agree... There are many idiotic fundies out there, and many moronic denominationalists to make matters worse.
Many of whom participate in these forums.
That is still no excuse in light of the fact that God will provide teachers who do teach with integrity.
That is not a fact.
My pastor had a big complaint about most churches. That is... "When you enter that church, you must check your brains at the door." He taught us from the Hebrew, Aramaic, Chaldean, and Greek texts. Presented an equivalent to a PhD in history in his teachings. Yet, the average soul who lacked arrogance? Could over time, grasp what it was he was teaching. That's one amazing aspect of the Grace of God.
Yet from any objective measure gods are nothing but characters in books. I do not abandon my intellectual integrity so easily.

A lie is a lie is a lie, there are no gods, how can we all have different gods? who is telling lies?
one of us must be wrong, who is it? is it you or is it me? why should I be right and you be wrong?
neither of us have the tiniest bit of evidence that we are right so why are we both so certain that we are?
the truth is we believe that we are so everyone else can take a running jump because we know we're right.
What a crock.............

Tell me, what do you think they are the result of? Magic?

Biogenesis is based upon magic. I notice that those pro-evolution types I have met always want to not go there.

Poof! There was matter! Poof! There was energy! Poof! There was life generated.... (its nonsensical)

And, that's how we got life!

I did not ask for a strawman of what others think. I am not that knowledgeable about evolution or abiogenesis.

I asked, what do you think they are the result of? Magic?

The bible is demonstrably poor at resolving differences of opinion.
I'll bet that's what General Lee thought, too.

Have you seen my Cliffs Notes on the Civil War?

Oh... here we go! Someone pulled his rope.

You beg the question by what you state. To which you can not grasp the truth of the answer. Then you go back to sleep.

There is a God. He created all angels.

Some of those angels rebelled against God and fell because they corporately wanted to join efforts and replace God. Lucifer was their head.

God is God. The gods? They are fallen angels giving it their best shot. They end up looking stupid. God is vindicated.

In the end, God cleans the slate and starts with only those who see reality without illusion about themselves.

Now...go someplace and don't believe that.

I have a faint recollection of you claiming that your god picked a side, but it was not in any way that you could demonstrate.

You are not saying that these worms inhabit hell, are you? Please say you're not. You did catch that they are only 0.5 mm long, right? That's 0.02 inches for those that are metrically handicapped. And, even if they were found at a surprising depth, it is still only a tiny fraction of the thickness of earths crust.

NO! I was posting articles to prove that worms can live Under the earth!

Well great. That's hardly news, though. I find worms "under the earth" all the time when I dig in my garden. In fact, I'd postulate that most worms live "under the earth".
