be more forthright, what you do is pick and choose what bible passages 'count' or not. This isn't sola scripture, it is just opinion, and the religion it generates is a game.

Of course! That is exactly why Dogma exists. Dogma is right interpretation in the public arena. It is part of the Apostolic Tradition that the Church preserves for the faithful.

Apostolic tradition is what the apostles actually taught (1 Corinthians 11:2).
Clare73 is right, you don't seem to know the meaning of Sola Scriptura.. And apparently you've been taught that sticking to the words of Christ and the apostles will send you to Hell.
Yes, that is what it is. It is how the apostles interpreted the Old Testament scriptures and how they write the New Testament scriptures and how they taught the bishops to interpret all of the scriptures; Christ is always the centre, always the Word who reveals God, never a book nor an inscription. He is the Living Word of God, and the scriptures are a written record of some of what Christ revealed, perhaps most of what he revealed, though saint John suggests that the whole world be too small to contain all that he did.

Say rather that Jesus is the Word of God, and the bible is holy scripture. The former must be first in all things while the latter is our joy here on earth.
