I had a very nice birthday -- my mother gave me a new Nook (the screen of my previous Nook shattered about a month ago), a beautifully illustrated book on the saints and a pair of earrings. We also went out to lunch together: I had filet mignon and lobster tail (lobster is my favorite food but I eat it only once or twice a year).
