oh well..for a bunch of super cute pics of my kids just click on my blog..ive posted lots of pics there..and when CF will allow it..ill post the 4th of july pics as well...wonder why i got the database error???

Hey does anyone remember the Red Scare from like the 1950s? It was some historical thing where everyone was soooo deathly afraid of Communism.

I'm starting to see some similarities. Except it's not communism, it's with something else. And it's still a "red" scare, I suppose.

That is where non-Christians ask for prayer and Christians pray for them. So it's not really interfaith in that the Christians are the ones who pray.

It would be awkward, but I don't think we should judge. Usually when I ask people to pray for me I say "pray for me if you believe in prayer. If you don't then just keep me in your thoughts."

And plenty of non-Christians pray too. It's the thought that couns, IMO.

I'm confused. Some people are talking like there will be no rules, no moderation at all. I read that there will be, just maybe not the ones we have now. I'm ok with that. And even now on CF ANYONE can post ANYWHERE...even the very secluded and personal Christian only areas. It's not that hard to pick a different icon people. If they aren't already doing it why would they start now?

I've been to every part of CF, even the parts I can't post in. Denominational, teens, men only, ministry, etc. If anyone really wants to cause trouble they could have. And anyone who tries in the future can be banned by the new mods. I don't see a problem.

I think there will be an adjustment period where the wrinkles will get identified and ironed out, what works/dont work, who makes a good Mod and who just needs to be taken out back and shot the first day on the job (not literally!), new features added, old ones gone away, etc.

No one can know what will work or not until it is in action. So, as the new changes will be flexable I think, for a while, we on both sides of the religious fence need to be flexable as well - with both the new "rules' (or lack thereof) as well as with each other.

Reading some of the posts, I wish I had a Chicken Little smiley saying "the sky is falling! the sky is falling!" but posting that would make me a smart a.., umm, derrier i suppose.

Perhaps some of the old ways may come back if it deemed worked better in some places here and some newer ones to be added thru out as needed. Just some musings on all this.
