I agree with this. There wil be those that will try to start trouble or spam or flame but they would do that with or without Mods and any changes in the rules.
I think there will be an adjustment period where the wrinkles will get identified and ironed out, what works/dont work, who makes a good Mod and who just needs to be taken out back and shot the first day on the job (not literally!), new features added, old ones gone away, etc.
No one can know what will work or not until it is in action. So, as the new changes will be flexable I think, for a while, we on both sides of the religious fence need to be flexable as well - with both the new "rules' (or lack thereof) as well as with each other.
Reading some of the posts, I wish I had a Chicken Little smiley saying "the sky is falling! the sky is falling!" but posting that would make me a smart a.., umm, derrier i suppose.
Perhaps some of the old ways may come back if it deemed worked better in some places here and some newer ones to be added thru out as needed. Just some musings on all this.
its a brave new world...
Has there been a thread opened up yet to make recommendations or add ideas to pertaining to all this? I thought I read a post from Erwin that one was going to be started but i havent seen it yet.
Gonna read some more and then back down to my usual haunts 'round these here parts.
