Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Yup. That's what I've gathered from the announcement. Looks to me like the future of CF will be what the members of CF choose to make of it.

I'd like to see the new CF work - particularly as I've spent a lot of time here. I think that the new annoucement currently lacks that "vision thing" which is, among other things, why I'm having some problems at the moment.
I've already seen lists going around on other boards on who should be the "new staff," nose counts being taken, and "possible policies" drawn up. To me that is too much "old boss is the same as the new boss..."

Community control can very well mean harsh restrictions and mods with little regard for those outside their own constituency. You forget, the old systems aren't going to be in place much longer. Many of them seem to be melting as this series of threads progress.
