If you claim to be a defender of Jesus way you must know Him then. Ask Him!

I asked you.

The Bible says the Word became flesh.
Where does it say the Word became Elf?

Uniting all Christians as one body...

Shouldn't that logo now be changed to:

Uniting people of all religions or no religion as one body?
Well, only now CF actually started to try to unite all Christians as one body. And that's a positive change. :)

Funny, Jesus original 12 disciples and a few others turned the world upside down for Christ. There are many thousands of born again Believers on CF and you mean to tell me you are AFRAID of other religions or no religion?
How about the fact that with this number of Christians we can be a LIGHT and SALT, and a WITNESS to them.
Unless the "Christians" who are arguing against the new changes are truly AFRAID because to them Jesus really doesn't have the power to change anything!

Where is FAITH man?

So you have no idea who any theologian is or what they did. What I say is tame compared to them. Justin Martyr or Augustine?
Theologians are men (or women). The Holy Spirit is the true Teacher through the Word of God.

Identifying the differences between denominations (by man) are usually defined by the following theologians:

Jacobus Arminius, Dutch theologian, founder of school of thought known as Arminianism.

John Calvin, French theologian, Reformer and resident of Geneva, Switzerland, he founded the school of theology known as Calvinism.

Martin Luther, German religious reformer, theologian, founder of the Lutheran church in Germany, founder of Lutheranism.

Menno Simons, founder of Mennonitism

Huldrych Zwingli, founder of Swiss reformed tradition

John Smyth, founder of the Baptist denomination

Jacob Amman, founder of the Amish church

John Wesley, Anglican priest, founder of the Methodist movement

William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army.

Ellen G. White, James White, Joseph Bates, Uriah Smith, Dr. John Kellogg Pioneers of Seventh-day Adventism.

The Protestant denominations, like Presbyterian and Lutheran were formed in the reformation– and each contain some of the styling or formality of the Roman Catholic church.

Anglican/Episcopalian - Anglicans believe Jesus was conceived and born of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. Mary was a virgin both when she conceived Jesus and when she gave birth. "They ... have difficulties with Catholic belief in her immaculate conception - the idea ... that Mary was free from the stain of original sin from the moment of her own conception ..."

The Baptists come from a line of Anabaptists that were never part of the Catholic church.

The Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses call themselves Christians, but are founded on heretical interpretations of God’s Word based on a single founder’s revelation.

A Christian is someone who knows Jesus as their Saviour, and desires to follow Him, and live according to His Word, the Bible.

A Christian is not a good person

A Christian is not someone who picks and chooses parts from the Word to fit their way of desiring to live.

A Christian walks a narrow path and not the wide, all inclusive path which is what the new rules will bring.

Hitler was a "Christian". He wasn't a Christian!

This is a very sad day for CF.

This forum will rapidly decline with it's current path. Well, it may exist as a forum, but not a Bible believing, God fearing forum.

One day, the wheat will be seperated from the chaff. Only those trusting in Jesus as their Saviour, and living as God has laid out, will enter Heaven.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one goes to the Father except by Him...... except in the new CF.

Hope to see you all in Heaven one day! I'll be there! If you'll be in Heaven too, but not through trusting in Jesus, then it will be a different Heaven to me!!! ;)

Ok, you wanted to go there.
Elf spelled backwards is F-L-E.
Jesus is also Holy Spirit and was born by the Spirit coming unto Mary. Holy Spirit = H-S.
The word FLESH, has both Elf and the initials of the Holy Spirit.
So actually if you turn the word backwards it does say Elf doesn't it? ^_^ ^_^

That's just it. Some are afraid of this and afraid of handing this over to God.

This place is NOT a church. This place is a meeting place to discuss God and pray that the Holy Spirit convict those to get saved.

Dear Irwin,

Right on, Bro! As a Seventh-Day Adventist Chrisitian, I have felt very frustrated at times with the Papacy like censorship and control that many CF Moderators use to stop the discussion of "hot" topics. Many of the Moderators used their position of authority like a neo-Inquisitioner. And what has been the result? Note, how many of the veteran CF members in General Theology no longer post any new threads (including myself). Please design the new forum rules in a way that political correctness does not trump truth!

God bless,

Brooks

Boittom line is that Erwin has turned the sight away from bringing meat into a milk bathed salvation based camp. There will be no room for teaching/discussing doctrines only defending the basics. Square one, you'll be too busy to ever get to sqaure two cause no one believes the basics.

I was reading some posts in one of the wiser subforums here at CF and it dawns on me that Erwin may be up to something more than I give him credit for.

I think that perhaps he is crazy like a fox and has purposely set the seeds of destruction to this forum

Erwin: "However, the second reason why I have avoided CF is because CF has become like 'hard work' to me - I no longer felt that visiting it was a positive thing. I did not look forward to reading negative posts about the site nor having to deal with PMs from various factions within CF wanting me to do something to support them. I had developed an aversion to the site - I dreaded clicking on my CF bookmark. I was in despair, to be honest. I suspect some of you, including staff members, have felt the same."

Often cleverness comes disguised as many things~I took it for gutless...clever dude:thumbsup:

...burnin' down the house...

So.. we should hide and avoid discussing truths with unbelievers and those who doctrines are different than yours?

Is Christ limited?

Maybe there are so many phony Christians here.
