“Modern Versions” (all versions published after 1568) are not real Bibles but alterations made by men of God’s word. King James started this whole mess with the ordering of a new translation of the Bible.

You can lead a horse to water , but you can’t make him drink . Spiritual folks like me who use the real Bible know the difference between chaff (the KJV and all other modern translations) and wheat (the real, genuine, authentic, unaltered, unadulterated, pure, holy word of God).

Brother , it sounds more like a New King James, rather than the original KJV ... and updating old english to modern english ... than a conspiracy ...looking at words posted ...

Until you are born again , and confirmed ( filled with the Spirit ) ... the book makes no sense to you regardless of the version used ...

Many people lack a bible mentor , one who will instruct them in hermeneutics , history , and doctrine & end up getting sucked into 1 point theological errors ...

I have used KJV , NKJ, NIV , Living , Douay-Rheims and see very little difference between the versions , excepting a few words updated to this century .
