Not sure if you consider me someone of integrity or not, but I'd like to see your explanation of who intended to hit the remodeled portion of the Pentagon.

Since no one is under oath on a witness stand, we don't know the answer to this for sure, it is only conjecture. You can draw your own conclusions from what we do know:

The easiest and most direct approach to the Pentagon would have been from the Potomac River side, which presented an open and unobstructed target. Instead Flight 77 (or whatever it was) circled around to the inland side of the Pentagon which was the least populated because of the reconstruction, performing the difficult, high-speed aerial maneuver and flying right over the White House.

Interesting to note: who was on that side? Largely civilian accountants, bookkeepers and budget analysts, and this is THE DAY AFTER Rumsfeld and Dov Zakheim announced that $2.3 trillion was MISSING, on Sept. 10, 2011.

But remember, the only reason there is any need to speculate as to what hit the Pentagon, or how the towers fell, is because the stamped-parts forensic evidence has been destroyed, just like 95% of the tower steel, and because the extensive video from the most heavily-surveillanced building in the world was destroyed or is being kept secret except for one snip which tells nothing.

Notice this pattern of destroying evidence is something Btodd avoids like the plague, instead preferring to keep asking irrelevant questions like "so how did the light poles get knocked down?" which is neither here nor there, which is exactly the point.

Then there is the issue of "where was Rumsfeld?" who was missing in action for 30 minutes before the Pentagon hit, whose job it was, as SecDef, to order any incoming planes shot down.


Brigadier General Montague Winfield told the 911 commission: "For 30 minutes we couldn't find [Secretary Rumsfeld]."

"We investigated very carefully Mr. Rumsfeld's actions," said 911 Commission chairman Lee Hamilton. "He was having breakfast with Congressional leaders, and they hear a plane has hit the Pentagon, and he runs out."

Again, this is after two towers had already been hit.

When Rumsfeld is spotted again he is out helping survivors on the Pentagon lawn, not at the helm of the nation's air defenses which is his post, in anticipation of further attacks. How did he know the attacks were over? He said he was "out of the loop," which is ridiculous, because as Secretary of Defense, he IS the loop.

When asked by a reporter if the commission was comfortable with the fact that the country's Secretary of Defense was not in the chain of command or present in the Pentagon's command center until all four suicide hijacked planes were down, 911 commission chairman Hamilton said "I'm not going to answer that question," and turned away.

Yes. Flying isn't the hard part, Landing is, but they weren't landing, so even that's not that hard.
