There are no high mountains in Wales
This is the only forum i have ever been on where brain cells literally leak out on a near daily basis.Wales is known for its high mountains.
Most of Wales is mountainous. Snowdonia (Welsh: Eryri) in the northwest has the highest mountains, with Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) at 1,085 m (3,560 ft) being the highest peak
So why did you say it to me first?So when someone states to me;
'You don't post anything that is worth knowing'
Is this not insulting ?

I beg to differ.Mine wasn't insulting yours was.
@Strong in Him One of these days you might post something that is useful & worth knowing.
Are you trying to deflect attention from my statement that your own words - the earth is a flat disc and the deepest hole ever dug was over 40,000 feet deep - are contradictory and cannot both be true?@Strong in Him See, two more posts again which say nothing of importance.
Yes it was Newton. Gravity, as I have said before, is the name given to the force that gives things weight, causing them to stay on the earth. Gravity stops the water of the seas being flung off into space in the same way that it prevents you and me being flung off into space - it gives water weight so that it is attracted to the earth. That doesn't make gravity a "god", any more than weight or density are gods.It was Newton who told us why an apple falls from the sky
Explain to me what gravity really is.
How does gravity stop the stop the seas from being flung into your supposed space on your supposed spinning ball ?
The only answer they have is, 'it's gravity.' It's like Gravity is there god
the earth is a flat disc and the deepest hole ever dug was over 40,000 feet deep - are contradictory and cannot both be true?
Gravity stops the water of the seas being flung off into space
Easily, gravity pushes everything to the center of the "ball". From all "sides", simultaneously. How does this work on a ball ?
If something is more than 40,000 feet deep, it cannot be a flat disc. Look at a CD; that's not even 40 mm deep.Yes they can, for instance we don't know how deep the flat disc shaped earth goes.

As I've said before, pile newspapers up until they are 40 feet high. Draw a circle on the top sheet, now cut it out, through all 40 feet worth of newspapers.
What shape are you left with?
If you wanted the resulting shape to resemble a circle, you would have to make it as high as it was deep. So on top of a 40-foot stack of papers, draw a 40-foot wide circle. Now cut that out. Is that a flat disc?
Now multiply that by 1,000.
Because you still do not understand (or do not want to understand) what gravity is - its a curved space, or better said, its consequence. Not in my wildest imagination can I envision this.
It's not good rolling your eyes; if you want to prove me wrong, do what I suggest and post the results.sigh

It's not impossible, it's how it is.I may not understand what gravity is but I do know that water always finds its own level, so for gravity to hold all the seas on a ball is just impossible & laughable.
Thats what happens when you know and focus on only one thing. One isolated principle (water seeking its level under gravity and in small scales, like in a glass or in a pool) will not give you the whole picture of the reality.I may not understand what gravity is but I do know that water always finds its own level, so for gravity to hold all the seas on a ball is just impossible & laughable.

I'm guessing you won't.
