Perhaps you have forgotten that Moses was a murderer? Or that he repeatedly pleaded with God to send someone else because he didn't want to be the one to speak to Pharaoh on behalf of his people.
What do you think makes one person's life more valuable than another's. And why do you think it is your right to make such a judgement? (If that is indeed what you're inferring by asking such a question)

Isn't there something in scripture about saving and losing lives? I don't own a gun, have never been attacked and have no fear whatsoever...why do you? And...I don't live in "safe suburbia" either...
Why so paranoid? If I die, I know where I'm going. If I kill the other, then I am sending him/her to a place of no redemption. I'd rather lose my life to give someone a chance at redemption than take a life and seal their fate.

I trust that God has put me on this earth and given me the ability to defend myself and my family for a reason.
It's easy to walk around in condition white (no fear) if you haven't been attacked. I made my living carrying a gun and being attacked for several years. I've seen the victims of attacks. I've seen dismembered bodies. I've seen it all. I know, all too well, what might happen next to my wife and son if I don't defend them and myself. And ... I wouldn't call it "fear." I would simply call it being wise and cautious.

I expected to "die by the sword" decades ago. Apparently, God wanted to keep me around. So ... I'm going to do everything I can to stick around.
