Col 1:16 For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: Col 1:17 And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

Is your idea of Him different than this? Unless Jesus is FIRST in your view, it doesn't fit the above description so your notions are refuted. Jesus IS the Light of the first Day. Gen 1:3 Amen?

Interpreting Genesis is where man struggles. I believe that you cannot take everything at face value in the Bible. Not 'everything'.

Jesus spoke in parables.

I believe one cannot read Genesis and interpret it as it reads! There is more to it than what is written. I think it is not meant to be taken 'literally'.

Yes, I believe there is much more. Did you know that the apostle Paul gives us help with understanding the mystery of God, which is the secret of the days of Creation. This is his Revelation; written in few words so that when we read we may understand.

Jesus was not created, the Father let the Son die from the beginning of the Creation, as written in Revelation 11:8; and there was light.

Otherwise, the death which was upon everything made apart from Himself, in the beginning, would be upon His Creation forever. The ONLY God ever formed or that ever will be formed, came forth from within the invisible Spirit into the Physical world. His name is YHWH and He later came to Earth as the man, Jesus Christ. When you've seen Him, you've seen the Father. Jesus IS Lord.

Do you deny that Jesus is the Light of the first Day? That He came into the physical world AFTER darkness or death was upon everything God Created? Gen 1:2 It's simple God, the invisible Spirit, SPOKE and Jesus, the Light, came into the physical world from within the invisible Spirit as the ONLY God ever formed or that ever will be formed.

Some try to stop discussion of what is actually written since it doesn't agree with the theology of men, who lived thousands of years before Science....in their obviously flawed religion. They seem to prefer the doctrines of men, and consider them above God's Holy Word.

It's simple to do since the first 34 verses of Genesis tell the complete History of the Creation from beginning until AFTER Jesus rules and reigns on our Planet for a thousand years. ALL the rest of the Bible provides the other details/witnesses to any situation. There are TWO witnesses to everything. Some are Their kinds and others are His kinds. Amen?

There are several things the light could have been. You act as if Jesus came into existance when God said let their be light. Jesus existed prior to God saying let there be light.

There was no death when the "physical world" was created. The baptist teach that.

That's not what the baptist teach. Why do you claiming to be a baptist teach what contradicts baptist theology and doctrine? Will you change your tag to represent who you really are?
