Jhn 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

It says that God rested from a specific kind of work.

Genesis 2:2-3

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day
he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because
on it he rested from all the work of creating [bara] that he had done.

The work God rested from was "bara." God stopped creating something out from nothing. God otherwise is always working in the hearts of men.

To me, "righteous," means right, correct, lawful.
No.

Blessings

and what is right and lawful?!, does the Holy Law of God says not to take good care of our neighbor?!, or will it be right if we don't take good care of our children?!

Blessings

Doesn't work since the Holy Spirit speaking through David says:

Psa 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created [bara] shall praise the LORD.

The verses you listed ALSO show that God's rest or His Ceasing to Create from His work is future, since He has NOT yet rested from ***ALL*** of His work. God will NOT rest from ALL of His work until the last sinner to be saved is saved and that is Future to 2016, no matter how much you disagree. Amen?

That speaks of the new souls to come that God shall create out from nothing. It says in Genesis 2 that God rested. It does not say he stopped forever creating out from nothing. What we see in Genesis Two is no more BARA. That differentiates between what took place in Genesis One from what happened in Genesis Two.

But, what you showed in Psalm 102:18? That pertains to more souls to come. For, God did not create your soul in Genesis 1:27. Yes.. He created 'male and female' souls. They were Adam and the woman's souls. Which, in Genesis 2, God provided bodies for. But, those bodies were not created 'out from nothing,' like he created [bara] the souls in His Image in Genesis One.

After all.. God is the Father (of our souls).. Our human parents can only provide the biological life that God places our soul inside at birth.

Another problem since God did NOT form Adam's "soul". It was Lord God.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Please show us chapter and verse where God is the Father of our souls instead of Lord God. Lord God/Jesus makes temporal beings and only God the Trinity "creates" everlasting creatures. That is WHY Jesus tells us that we MUST be born again or from above, born Spiritually, by God the Trinity.

Also the term "rested" in Hebrew is in the Hebrew Imperfect tense, which means that it is NOT yet complete. It won't be complete until God's work of creating New Creatures in Christ is complete at the end of the present 6th Day/Age and ALL of the host of Heaven is safely in Heaven:

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and ALL the host of them.

The last sinner to be saved is among the host or inhabitants of Heaven. Christians are very important hosts of Heaven since we will have dominion or rule over EVERY other living creature. Gen 1:28 Amen?

Your soul is made out from the dirt? That's crazy thinking.

I am not even going to try to straighten that one out.

Aman? You're talking about things that neither the Bible mentions, nor did I.

From what I read that you write? ... I am assuming your hobby is being resident agitator. For you are able to navigate the Scriptures. But, always run ashore in your thinking. Why do you do it? What is to be gained?

Adam's body was formed and molded [jatsar] as found in Genesis Two, only after God had already rested from creating [bara] the soul of Adam in Genesis One. The created soul, that had been created in Genesis One, was breathed into the nostrils of a body that was molded and formed (not created) as we find in Genesis Two.

Without the help of the Hebrew being understood? There will be many confused souls when reading the English translations of Genesis One and Two. That is why some try to force a two-creations theory in attempt to reconcile what they fail to see correctly.

You're posting sheer unbiblical speculation.
There is NO denomination that accepts your false view.

Genesis 1:28 shows that Adam (mankind) is destined to have dominion or rule over EVERY living creature, including Angels, when Jesus returns. The Creation account teaches the proper order which is:

God...Gen 1:1..Before the 1st Day. Jesus...Gen 1:3..the Light of the 1st Day..Adam..mankind on Day 3 Gen 2:4-7...Angels 1Co 6:3...and then every other living creature on Day 5. Gen 1:21

That is also WHY Jesus tells us that we MUST be born again, born from above Eternally which MUST be done by God the Trinity. God said this on the 6th Day.

Gen 1:26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:

and Jesus:

Jhn 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; Jhn 14:17 Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

IOW, The Bible, when read for what it actually says, instead of what religion says it says, is my support. God bless you

Your interpretation is pretty much impossible to follow. Full of speculation and adding between the lines.

It's what is actually written in God's Holy Word. The traditional religious view of ancient men cannot be supported by actual Scripture. My position is to edify the Church, the Body of Believers in Jesus Christ, in these last days before Jesus returns. That is why I show that Genesis AGREES in every way with every discovery of Science and History IF you read it for what it says instead of what some ancient theologian thought it said. God Bless you

I'm sorry if you misunderstand. Perhaps if you would be more specific and point out where I have failed to communicate my views. I will be happy to post supporting Scripture and explain what I understand they teach. Amen?

That would be incorrect. Gen 1 covers the six says....Gen 2 covers day 6. basic bible 101
OK.... you just like to argue. You say things that I did not say. Then, argue about what you say, I said. But, did not say. Why should I bother? What are my hopes of correcting what I say? If you can not comprehend what I am saying in the first place? ;) silly world we are stuck in...

You've been claiming to have posted supporting scripture all along...and so far have failed to do so. What we always get is in-be-tween the lines theology.

Not so, since Genesis two begins with details of the 7th Day when God rests from ALL of His work. At Gen 2:4 the narrative takes us BACK to the 3rd Day and shows that man (Heb-Adam) was made from the ground before the plants, herbs and rain. Genesis 2:19 details the making of the beasts of the field and birds, which Adam names, on the present 6th Day. It also shows the making of Eve after the animals were made. Gen 2:22

IOW, neither of you seems to understand the details of Genesis 2 according to what is actually written. Amen?

Then refute me Scripturally instead of just disagreeing because what is actually written doesn't agree with your religion. God Bless you

Gen 2 tells of a garden...one that didn't exist...that God put NEW plants into. We've been over this. Perhas you'd like to listen now.

Your "theology" denies the DIRECT reading of scripture that tells us man was created on day 6.
