So, the stores seem to think its a religion?
Maybe something can come from nothing.
Lol.
Books "about atheism" are rarely actually about atheism. More frequently they are critiques of other religions. That's why you'd find them in the religion section. So, the stores seem to think its a religion?
bhsmte said:And thankfully, such critiques are allowed.
I evaded the question that was an answer to my question. Care to answer the original question?
If God came to the Earth, would you believe?
No, I called it Government grant, you said you are humiliated and curious.
Why don't bookstores place Them in the FICTION section, then?
What if your a Christian with critiques on atheism?
I don't know.
Your turn;
If Zeus came to the Earth, would you believe?

rikerjoe said:No I didn't. Don't put words in my mouth!
bhsmte said:For me, if Zeus or God came down to earth, performed a few miracles and I could rule out a delusion on my part, I would accept that either one was real.
While on this topic, why doesn't God come down to earth and do just that? Think of how much good he could do and how many people he could get to believe in him and finally provided some credible evidence that he is real.
He did. And, mans heart was still so evil they crucified him on a cross. Some who were healed still chose not to believe in Him. What makes you think your capable of believing in Him? Regardless of you seeing, hearing or experiencing a miracle?
I would be forced to believe in the existence of Zeus. I on the other hand would not worship him. But, there is no evidence to believe such an event did, or would ever happen. So, I am in no way compelled to believe in him.
Ouch!In the words of the non-living.
That wasn't my question. It places it with other religious texts. Does that mean those other texts are accurate and non-fiction too?

Nonsense! There is plenty of evidence; both written and from personal testimony of God's existence.
Whether you believe it or not is up to you, but to deny its existence makes about as much sense as denying the sun.
There are many kinds of evidence, and eyewitness testimony is considered to be reliable enough to send a person to death row.
Nonsense! The most in-depth experiment to prove evolution involved irradiating fruit flies over thousands of generations and all it proved was that evolution didn't happen.
Most of what you consider evidence are simply peoples interpretations of things which are interpreted differently by those who do not worship at the altar of Darwinism.
History is replete with false gods claiming special powers that never seemed to pass the tests put before them.
