In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What you wrote is TRUTH for the church, NOT FOR people still dead in their sins! When John writes of the 144,000 he is speaking of PHYSICAL birth, born of a Jewish or Hebrew mother. They are NATURAL men, not born again.

What I do, is accept what the scripture says, that Gentiles are fellow citizens with Jews..that we are ONE built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Jesus as the cornerstone.
I accept that Peter says we (Christians) are a CHOSEN RACE, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION! Now...unless I'm mistaken that's what Israel was in the OT...but Peter says that is the CHURCH!!!

I don't mix the church with the Old Covenant...YOU DO! Unless you missed the boat the New Covenant is in effect,,,the Old Covenant died with Christ.
So it is those who are "given the right to become sons of God" that are descendants.
When you get the OT out of your system...you *might* see that.
