The debate starts on June 27, 2024 at 8:00 PM CT or 9:00 PM ET (01:00 UTC on June 28, 2024 for the British folks). Use this thread to discuss the debate. Some can watch, and be enthralled, some can't.

I might just get some of the highlights or summaries later, right now I don't think I can watch.

Ooh, I love BeamNG Drive simulator videos. CarPal and WhyBeAre are my favorite car simulator channels, which I got introduced to via YouTube in ~2018, and then again in 2020 through now.

Agreed. It seems like 9/10 folks have already made up their minds. I am not liking either candidate, and will wait until November to make a decision on who to vote for, cos who knows, Trump could be in jail by then, and the Republicans could put up another candidate such as Liz Cheney. I would then vote for Liz over Biden.

Agreed. It seems like 9/10 folks have already made up their minds. That is understandable. And, as of now, the GOP is not doing well, so the Democrats I would have to vote for (or sit 2024 out until a more centrist Democrat or Republican steps up). Both sides are not good at the moment. I'd vote for a centrist party, if there was such a thing.

These are my political beliefs below. Blue = leftist, purple = center, and red = conservative. My politics are a mixed bag.

Alright guys, the debate officially starts.

I wish Pete Buttigieg (D) and Liz Cheney (R) would step out on stage. Those two folks would make a much better choice compared to the candidates we are stuck with in 2024.

Maybe with Biden's performance tonight he will be replaced at the Democratic Party Convention. Slim chance but possible.

Biden is abused also by the people who put him up to things that are over his head like this debate. Trump seems halfway restrained in how he is treating Biden. Biden is laying into Trump in what might also be considered elder abuse. They are pretty close to the same age so they are beating up on each other.

Retire them both.
