  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Time is Not Our Friend

This is a video of me reading the poem, "Time is Not Our Friend," and then me talking about what that means for us today, in connection with these being the last days before the return of Christ and the evidence we can see each day of the times in which we now live, and the importance of making...

I Want to Draw You a Picture

Based off Revelation 2:1-29; Revelation 3:1-22 I want to draw you a picture, Not for your mantel or fixture. It’s drawn with letters and numbers, Focused on those who do slumber. I know your works and endurance, How you’ve found in Me assurance. You’ve abandoned love had at first, So, for...

    Bible in Poems

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone would ever be interested in each book of the Bible condensed into short poems, especially for ages 6-12. Here's an example from Isaiah: The Lord’s throne in His temple quakes with smoke, I’ve seen, The King of heaven’s army, and my lips unclean! An angel...

    How Can You?

How can you do Santa Claus And Jesus Christ in time? How can you raise Santa Claus And minimize Christ’s life? How can you raise up a man Who is not who he say While you picture Jesus Christ A babe in manger lay? Santa (Satan) is not God, He mimics him instead. Takes on all his attributes...

    Christian poems

Peace be with you. May God bless you! Once I fell in love and wrote a beautiful poem in Dutch for a beautiful girl. It consisted of 5 quatrains. So afterwards I thought: if I wrote it for a girl whom I loved very much, why not writing a poem directly for God, whom I must love above everything...

    Sin Should Not Be Master

Sin should not be master of our lives. Sin should not o’er take us, in us thrive. Christ should have dominion in us now, As we come to know Him, humbly bow. Let His Word instruct us in His ways. Let us follow Him from day to day. Conquerors in Jesus be us now, Victory in Jesus we avow. Come...

An Original Work / December 25, 2021 Jesus Christ, He died for all, Not so we could have a ball. Jesus in that manger lay, So we’d worship Him and pray. Jesus Christ, He came to earth, So in Him we’d have new birth. Jesus sacrificed for sin, So that we could live in Him. Jesus Christ, our...

    Solid as a Stone

Today is a double poem day. Here is one of my favorites. Solid as a Stone Should I take a human path, Or take the path You’ve laid? Should I drive on human roads, Or on the road You’ve paved? Should I master human words, Or master what You say? Should I ponder human thoughts, Or ponder You...
