  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    The Fierce Barren Desert

Hello! Peace be with you today. This is my latest poem and is a new form of poetry (to me) that I am experimenting with. I'm not sure if it has a name, but I would like to tell a story with my poetry (while at the same time bringing glory to Jesus.) I hope you enjoy this poem. Please do tell...

Behold the Creative Power of the Lord! (Poem.)

I wrote this poem to express how much I enjoy nature. The Lord's amazing work that He has done with this earth is incredible. What a glorious habitat He has given to us to live in! The earth is the Lord's, It has been crafted perfectly. He laid down the foundations, He measured it out to the...

    Gospel Poem

Hello I just wrote a poem about the gospel. I hope you enjoy it, God be with you. A considerable amount of time ago, lived two people, who were God's chosen. God chose them to be the first humans to be made, and blessed them with a garden. In the midst of which sat two trees: two possible...

    Sweetness & Kindness (Poem)

This is the third poem I ever wrote the Lord. I hope it blesses you in some way. God be with you. Sweetness resides in Your abode, O Lord. Kindness dwells in Your home, O God. You cherish kind deeds, as You command loving actions. Wearing mercy as a cloak, Your creation is loved. I will love...

    You Loved Me (Song)

On November 27, 2019, the Lord Jesus gave me a poem to write entitled, “You Loved Me.” So, I posted it on the internet. Then, one of my fellow Christian bloggers and friend, Tosin, read the poem. And, she responded to it with a tune for the poem, so it could become a song. God had given the tune...

    On Frosty Nights (poem)

On frosty nights the breath assumes a shape, A visibility which at the most Is frailer than a shadow, less than a ghost, And so intangible no scales, no tape Can weigh or measure it, no hazel rod Divine its source. The frosty air alone Can X-ray that which animates a bone - Can film a fleeting...

    "from My Heart"

May the title of this poem be everything I've written And the body of this poem the very tiniest part For words and spaces I just keep forgettin' Yet a few words I usually remember from my heart "Everything I've Written" By Jeff Chaudoir

    Grace

A poem to Jesus. Praise Him, I love Him! ~~~ One day my life just turned to crap, and in panic then I prayed Jesus came into my house and saw the mess I had made, Lights turned off and my wounded soul crying in my bed He looked around at what I'd done, I saw Him shaking His head. Then He...

    64 Anno Domini

The long line of your followers that you detest, Walking single file with vehement interest, In their wake blood overflowed into Tigris, The dead integrated Euphrates causing infest, That man made Styx was never left to rest, Lay in your sepulchre with a lustrous golden crest, Persecuting...

Who Is This King Of Glory (poem)

A poem I wrote today about Yeshua, after a friend wanted to celebrate his renewed relationship with God among his friends: Who is this King of glory? That calms the raging sea. He walks on troubled waters, and sets the captives free. His voice is like a trumpet, His eyes a passionate flame...

A poem for those just like me.

wishing you had a child like faith But instead you were born a know it all Praying you would be saved Just to wake up to a fall. With fear overwhelming, and pain deep inside, you use unbelief as a way to numb the pain Your worst fear is to die, but if you have Christ to die is gain. All this...

    Building a Masterpiece

What foundation are you building on? The Master of the Universe, as a special gift to each one of us before we retire from our work, to build one last piece of work as representative of what we have put into our job that had been given us to perform. As each is a master of their own talent...
