This is a brief poem/prayer I wrote.
Oh Father I ask,
Please shape me and mold me,
Pull me and tug me,
Bend me and fold me.
You alone Father,
Are the ultimate Sculptor,
Not marble and granite,
But humans and culture.
Please raise me Father,
To mirror Your image,
Please increase my height,
Until it’s sufficient.
Father Your ways,
Are not always easy,
But following You,
Is what I find pleasing.
Father I ask,
Please reshape my mind,
Not as a humans,
Closer to Your kind.
Father this world,
Is not what we’re deserving,
So let’s turn to You,
You alone are worthy.
Amen.
