This is an AP story, so quoting is not allowed. The essence of the story is that the White House has quietly leaked the results of a report saying that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

But never mind that.

Iran has nuclear weapons! Did I say "Iraq?" I meant "Iran!" Iran! Of course! That's it! Iran has nuclear weapons!

In other breaking news, water is wet. We now go live to Lisa who has the story.
So we have this axis of evil.

1) A country which is no threat to the U.S., and has no major weaponry.

2) A country which is communist; starving the people of the country; a threat to many allies; and which makes missiles to export, including nuclear weaponry.

3) A country which is very close (and now completed, I believe) its quest for nuclear weaponry.

Which door do you choose, the lady or the tiger, or the other tiger?

But Voter, don't you understand. The DoD.. er.. State Department has three different methods of dealing with these three very different rogue terrorist regimes.

For North Korea - Multilateral discussions with regional powers coupled with financial incentives to cut back on their WMD program.
For Iran - Attempt to bring U.N. pressue on the country to scale back or stop their WMD program.
For Iraq - Since Multilateral negotiations, financial incentives and U.N. pressure would never work, we must invade, even if it means acting unilaterally.

Hey, if Rumsfeld can confuse Saddam with Osama (twice in the same speech!), then certainly Bush can confuse Iraq and Iran with those pesky WMDs... ;)

What about our WMD's? We boast about having the best. I just cant wait for WW3 to errupt. So we gota conqure Syria and Iran too. Then I suppose the WMD moved to egypt or another country ? Disipite our satallite servalance.

Leaders and poloticans don't pay the price. Citizens and soldiers pay the price.
War is a big contradiction.
