If you are worshipping any spirits as God whatsoever, you are way off base. God says to worship Him and only Him. Please worship no spirits.

Does the Lord Himself not ask us to test the Spirits? I am obeying a command not distrusting God.

In my case I have such loyality and trust in them that it would be a joke to do that. It would not even enter my mind because I had been prepared and when they came I "knew" them. I mean I was crying "why did you leave" "I want to go with you" Before you say "koo koo" you have to realize that they have the ability to bond with you when very young and can keep it repressed till (38 plus yesars old in my case) and then did unlock this part in my mind. That is why I know and trust them to be God.

Does the Word of God confirm this to be a way to test spirits to see if they are from God? By acquainting thyself and bonding with a spirit, you can know they are from God? If there is a verse in the Bible that says this, then let me know....

One doesn't worship out of respect-in fact- as solo66 man points out-worshipping anything other than God Himself is idolatry which is strictly forbidden in the 10 commandments. "For I am a jealous God," declares the Lord. "I shall share My Glory with no one!" (Not sure of verse, but I know it's there somewhere.)

So anyway ..as much as I know you might not believe this..thisis why I have no need to "question" who they are. I know them. I your case I don't blame you for suspecting the worst.

I am not suspecting the worst, rather I am looking out for you. I have certain reservations about what you have been told through these aliens, therefore out of love for you, I ask you to ask and make sure you are not being falsely mislead. If you are not, then this is a very interesting topic...

Thats right, we are to only worship God. For example, there have been cases where angels have appered to people, and just on the spot, the people started to worship the angels and the angels said something like "please don't worship me, for only God is worthy of worship."

Also, I've heard from people who were caught up in satanism themselves, that it is dangerous to talk to demon spirits. If a demon spirit appears to u, it is probably best not to talk to it. Rather one should pray out to God for him to make the demon go away.

Yes, sbbqb7n16, we must test the spirits and any refusal to is an indication of the spirit(s) having a hold on us that is unGodly.

After some time in spiritual warfare of driving evil spirits out of a neighborhood, I have been approached in my dreams by demons
several times and each time I either went to scripture or called out to God to save me from them and each time that I called out,
He sent angels to literally disperse them. Thank God.

You back your claims up with misty unsubstantial verses that seemt to be quoted out of context. If you would test these spirits AS THE BIBLE TEACHES US TO DO then maybe you could find a little truth in it all.

ohjeez you are avoiding the question & the solution. Who is your Lord & Saviour? Do you believe in Jesus? You have only mentioned God's name. As you stated in an earlier post, God says in the Bible to test the spirits. You don't know "how". A warm fuzzy feeling wasn't what He said. The Bible says to have them say, "Jesus is Lord".

Last i read Satan is Prince and power OF THE AIR. What does that tell you???

You are being deceived!!!!!! Don't you know Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light? Test those spirit guides of yours!!!!! DO IT NOW! Before it's too late. I know you feel you have biblical support for what you are involved in, but everything you've stated, thus far, sounds like it has been taken out of context. For example, the reference you make to shaking the dust from your shoes. that is in referral to those who reject the Gospel message, not the tribulation period.

If spirit guides are a good thing, don't you think all christians would have one????? And, don't you think we would be told in the Bible to expect them?!

While I firmly believe in people receiving spiritual gifts, "guides" are not listed.

These spirits have been lying to you, they are not of God, they do not act like any of the angels in the Bible.

When I was a teen and young adult, I had a spirit guide that I believed was my guardian angel, because that's what he told me he was. His name was Aaron, and he told me that he was an angel sent to show me my speciallness to God. He told me that God had special plans for me, supernatural plans, and that I should follow and love this angel, and pray to him instead of to God, as God was too busy to listen to humans. Aaron was sort of a personal trainer for my mind and spirit.

It wasn't until I was an adult, and heard the truth about who these spirits are, that I realized that Aaron was evil and had intentionally side-tracked my life away from what I should have been doing. When I realized that he was a demon sent to get me to deny and ignore God, I became frightened. Fortunately, I was already a Christian, and God protected me from the demon's rath and revenge.

ohjeeze, I believe that you are seriously mentally ill, and that your illness is either caused by the demons that you think are angels, or that because you are ill, they have come into you life to make you sicker.

Please go to the emergency room right now and tell the doctors what is happening to you. If the beings are angels, they won't be afraid of you getting healthy. If the get angry and don't want you to go, you will know they are demons that have come to harm you. The doctors and the ministers will know how to get the demons away from you. Don't wait until it's too late and they kill you. You are in a dangerous place. Ask for help.

Ohjeeze - I read this thread with great concern, trying to use discernment on your motives. I think that you are sincere in your confusion, and if you are not, you must deal with God on that.

However, thinking that you are sincere, I would ask that you go before the Lord on your knees, confessing, thanking, and asking for wisdom. I believe John 16 is your favorite. But read John 14:15-27:

John 15-16 - If you love me, you will obey what I command. I will ask the Father, and he will give you another counselor to be with you forever - the Spirit of truth.

26 - But the counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Please read it all and have your heart open to God. Ask that THE Spirit, God's Spirit fill you, as you read. Literally do this. The Lord Jesus has only promised one Spirit. He did not promise us "spirits". Big difference. If you really believe that your spirits, and your spirit guide is from God, then I would suggest that you prayerfully get on your knees before God, Bible in hand, praying for the Spirit to fill you. He will, if you are sincere. If you are already filled with the Spirit, this will not insult or frighten you. You will not hesitate to do this because we know that God is never insulted when we sincerely pray for His Spirit. I pray that He fills me with His Spirit over and over. And the Comforter you mention, wants to fill us with truth. Pray for the Spirit and the Truth. See what happens and keep us posted. We care, and we're praying that the Spirit will fill you, and give you truth.

Obviously the Word of God says that the Holy Spirit bears witness to Jesus Christ. So shouldn't your spirits bear witness to Him as well? Don't try and find some parts of scripture and twist them for the purposes that these spirits want for you, read the whole Bible and see the truth for yourself!!
