As I wrote prior there be contradictions in their testimonies more so with seeing stars and not seeing stars . I see no difference in Buzz aldrins testimony and he claims to be a Christian also despite his continuing Masonic association. The evidence being that no one created a moon base after Apollos success and that no one has ever returned to the moon . And all the postponements that continue . Now you believe the testimony of the astronauts I don’t . When we are jumping around upon the moon again as allegedly before then an apology will be forthcoming. But until then NO

No, they were manned by astronauts. Some of the missions were unsuccessful and the astronauts lost their lives.

No, I said that the moon landings happened. That was what was behind my "deal with it" comment.
They took place more than 50 years ago. Whatever we are debating now can't change what happened then.

What I meant was that, at one point, NASA may have intended to create a moon base. Either they changed their minds, or didn't have the resources.

But none of the original scrolls and documents now exist. If we were to follow through on your logic; not having the original scrolls means the Bible was never written.
Obviously that's incorrect.
So IF there are no longer any original documents relating to the moon landings, that does not mean that they never happened.

Jesus of Nazareth was born, lived, died and rose again. His life, death and resurrection were recorded and there were eyewitnesses. At some point those accounts, and documents, were put together to make up the Bible. This still exists today - millions of people have at least one copy of it, even though we no longer have the original scrolls.
The moon landings happened. They were documented and there were eyewitnesses. Some of these are still alive. Even if every piece of the original documentation has been lost, there are still people around today who testify that they walked on the moon. Their families can no doubt tell us what it was like to have a husband/father/brother in space, not knowing if they would see them again.
There is eyewitness testimony to the fact that Jesus is alive and changing lives today.
There is eyewitness testimony to the fact that men walked on the moon.

When has any astronaut ever lost their lives on the way to the moon. They haven’t. There . Certainly has been those who lost their lives around earths orbit and upon reentering the earth but none have ever been lost their life on the way to the moon . As to no original manuscripts remaining of course we not have . And we not need the originals because we have thousands of documents ranging from papyrus, manuscripts to church fathers biblical quotations to know what most of the Bible says . There be no contradiction. As but with the moon landings that were almost brought into question from day one . And Strong in him yes we do agree upon the power of Gods word as his truth continues to march on. The mere witness testimony of the apostles has been proven true but not so much that of the astronauts and there be a big difference with biblical documents and how to land on the moon documents that are now claimed as all lost. Strange don’t you think when one claims with the lost documents they were able to land on the moon but strangely they can’t do now . But with the word of God people continue to be saved without the originals . No contradiction at all. My answer is the same . The clock is ticking past 50 yrs and despite all their claims of landing allegedly back on the moon again they continue to fail and to not deliver with technology 10 times better .

No trace of any telemetry data from the worlds renown moon missions exists according to NASA, The care takers of Mans recorded greatest achievement, Yet its lost? so much is missing? Very strange.

I "keep harping on" about Charles Duke because he gives public talks about his walk on the moon.
He has said that the walk on the moon was not the greatest part of his life - meeting Jesus was.
He has said that his walk on the moon lasted for 3 days; his walk with Jesus will last for the rest of his life.
In the same talk where he speaks, and shows pictures, of the moon and moon landing, he talks about Jesus Christ as his Saviour and Lord.

It is not feasible to say, "he is being absolutely truthful about Jesus, but the bit about walking on the moon, is a lie.
Either he is telling the truth about the moon, in which case, what he says about Jesus is also true - or he is lying about both.

Strong in him you have this notion in your head that Christians do not lie. You ask is it not feasible that he’s telling the truth about the moon and what he says about Jesus is true too Stong in him Kenneth Copeland sprouts the same truth about Jesus all the time even if he is a conman like many other televangelists. You have to think outside the box . Just because person claims to be a Christian doesn't mean they are so, just because a person is a Christian doesn't mean they can’t lie. Does it not seem feasible that astronauts can lie too ???

Kenneth Copeland believes in Jesus and teaches Jesus.
He is not correct when he teaches the prosperity Gospel, but that does not mean he lies about Jesus being his Saviour.

If Charles Duke is lying when he says "I walked on the moon", then he is also lying when he says that writes about Jesus, his Saviour and says that meeting Jesus was the best part of his life.

Have you heard Charles' testimony - of how he was going through a difficult time with trouble in his marriage, and then he met Jesus? They had been a "religious" family for a while, but they didn't know Jesus. In 1975 his wife was on the verge of suicide.
Watch it, if you dare.

If you can't bear to watch the factual stuff about the moon, start it at 31 minutes in.

Even @Apple Sky has watched it, said that she honestly believed it and it briefly changed her life. (Until she changed her mind again.)

We are not talking about a one time, off the cuff lie to try to impress a friend or get out of a difficult situation. We are talking about a public testimony and Christian preaching ministry. He has been, and maybe still is, invited to churches. It's possible that unbelievers come to Christ when they hear his testimony.

When Charles heard the words, "Jesus said 'I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except by me'," he said to himself, "either that's the truth or the biggest con in history".
What do you say - was he lying?
