With no fuel the only thing you could possibly extract energy from would be a temperature gradient, but you've only mentioned ambient air, not something for the "ambient air heat" to flow into.
I can't give the clue. I know how smart you are and you'll figure it out. But a clue to the clue to the clue is philosophical in nature.
Spend your time and money building it if you must (I can see you have plenty of both), but it will never generate power.
I intend to build it with less than $2000 budget with used components. The concept is relatively simple. No high tech components needed and some of the parts can be sourced from a junk shop.
I'm not really well off. I only make $600 each month and most of it goes to just paying bills and debts. I'll save $2000 eventually but another problem is that I simply have no time to build a prototype without sacrificing my job and leaving or getting fired from my job is a risk I cannot afford to take.
