I can't give the clue. I know how smart you are and you'll figure it out. But a clue to the clue to the clue is philosophical in nature.

Spend your time and money building it if you must (I can see you have plenty of both), but it will never generate power.

I intend to build it with less than $2000 budget with used components. The concept is relatively simple. No high tech components needed and some of the parts can be sourced from a junk shop.

I'm not really well off. I only make $600 each month and most of it goes to just paying bills and debts. I'll save $2000 eventually but another problem is that I simply have no time to build a prototype without sacrificing my job and leaving or getting fired from my job is a risk I cannot afford to take.

All I care is results and it's working out well for me and I'm not working with complex problems anyway.

There are ways around it - memory wipe, fresh chat session, switching accounts, debating, reframing the problem over and over.

Debating and reframing to scrutinize AI's replies means you already have good knowledge of the subject discussed, hopefully, something you learned from school or from work and not through AI.

That is how I'm getting good quality output from AI. I'm still doing most of the work.

This is how people end up thinking they are the new messiah or have invented a perpetual motion engine.

You take a person and add an environment where they are validated in their every wild idea and you get mentalists convinced the Earth is a cube.

Not my experience. There are things that chatgpt-5 never agreed with me even if keep bringing up the topic, including topics in religion. and some aspects of my engine concept.

It does not validate every wild idea that I have even if I'm very eager to have the idea validated.

At least with the latest chatgpt-5.

Is this your own experience or just repeating other people's experience with AI?

I wasn't fishing for a clue. The information you have given described a physically impossible configuration.

You dd nothing wrong there, I simply have issues trusting other people in just about anything including relationships. I don't even fully trust my close relatives!

Even if it is a foolish move, I still have to build it as closure if not now, I would much much later. It's like asking a super celebrity out on a date as $600/mo nobody. Absolutely foolish move but might regret it for the rest of my life if I didn't.

I have also ran the concept by Google Gemini. Gemini seems more respected in the enterprise market for AI than chatgpt. I personally use Gemini as my AI choice for work related tasks. I found Gemini impossible to manipulate.

Using fresh context. Gemini saw the energy flow immediately after describing the machine to it. Much faster than chatgpt -5 did.

Our chat is completely different but results are very similar. I suggested nothing, Gemini quickly saw it on its own and correctly recognized the gas cycle its using. It did not see any violation of physical laws as long as I maintained external energy input which is insignificant but framing the machine with incredible efficiency. Gemini is much more sensitive to violation of physical laws than chatgpt-5 did and perhaps too sensitive but the concept still passed its scrutiny.

I work a lot faster with AI at my job. It buys me more time to do other things but it's not much.

The flow of energy is still observed from one of the known gas cycles. I don't think it's an overlooked detail. It's simply never been the goal.

It was my goal last 2009 and then gave up on it due to great difficulty at resolving the concept and considered it unfeasible. Saw it again as anomaly/bug in a computer simulation with a different machine last 2018 but again, quickly gave up on it due to great difficulty/cost of real life replication. 2025, emerged again through AI analysis in another different machine, 2025 saw all difficulties resolved with a completely different design that is actually cheap to prototype.

It keeps coming up in various computerized analysis under extreme circumstances. Fluid, and then now, via AI. It's likely that others have seen in computer simulations as well but likely dismissed it as bug or "discontinuity" in the simulation.

That's a very interesting article that I enjoyed reading but has nothing to do with my thread.

I keep writing about focusing on my job and taking care of people like my disabled mother and putting my engine project on hold indefinitely.

The two men in that article have clearly let their imagination run wild, lost touch with reality, and nearly destroyed their lives.

It’s exactly the same. If you realise that you’re not actually onto something big and lay off the AI like I suggested upthread then yes, it is different.

No one else will look after my mom and I'm single and mom doesn't want anybody else to take care of her. I'm the perfect choice.

If you knew someone or you yourself had horrible experience with AI like the article, I'm sorry for that. I believe it can happen, I believe the stories in the article you shared. But everyone is different. I did not descend into AI madness and kept my priorities straight and grounded. Even my use of AI have tapered considerably since few months ago.

I still use AI extensively at work. It helps me make money through coding work and it's the best income I ever had my whole life. It's not much at $600/mo but it's the best I had. So I really can't stop AI when my ability to make money depends on using AI.

I don't use AI for companionship. I have real friends I talk to regularly and we go out and see each other every weekend though I don't stay out too long because of mom. Mostly exercising outdoors and eatng together. I'm somewhat "popular" at the park and the neighborhood so it's not hard for me to fit in and I'm definitely not desperate for companionships both human and AI.

I have no need for validation. I get plenty from my friends in our weekend activities and compliment them in return.

Anyway, my engine concept might be quite radical, but I never let it get into my head. I even put all work on it on hold including research and analysis. I treat it just like any simple hobby and not more. I will never sacrifice my responsibilities to other people like my job and taking care of mom. Not one bit. There's nothing for you to worry about.
