  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sure; we are not required to make sacrifices and offerings now, in this Church Age. There is no Temple, so it is impossible anyway.
But there Will be a new Temple in Jerusalem in the end times and there will be sacrifices and offerings made in it. As Prophesied in Ezekiel 40-46.

2 Thess 2:4 is proof of this and Daniel 9:27, Revelation 13:5-7, confirm it.
An understanding of what God requires of His people, is needed, to be His witnesses and His Light to the nations. Isaiah 56:1-8
Ezekiel is having a vision that appears as a city, not a material city, a spiritual city fulfilled in Christ. After all, the last verse names the city.

Ezekiel 48:
35The perimeter of the city will be 18,000 cubits, and from that day on the name of the city will be:
THE LORD IS THERE.”

All we have to do now, is find out where the Lord said He would be and as Ezekiel said, would be from that day on.
Matthew 18:18-20
Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. / Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. / For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.
Ephesians 2:19-22
Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household, / built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. / In Him the whole building is fitted together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord. ...

2 Co 12:2 matters not whether it was in his body/spirit or in his spirit only when he was "caught up to the third heaven."
It matters a lot if Paul was in a vision/dream like the verse mentions, or if it was a physical event.
I have no need to disbelieve Paul.
So do you not believe Paul later on when he penned a letter to Timothy in 1 Timothy 6 ?

..the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16 who only hath immortality, dwelling in
the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see:
to whom be honour and power everlasting.

Paul would not have said this if he had already been physically to heaven, and seen God in person.

No more than you do not. . .

Who said Paul has seen anyone other than the Lord, Jesus, in person?

In Paul's writings, the Lord is Christ.

Ezekiel may not be referring to the NEW Covenant.
All of Ezekiel 40 to 48, is describing how the Lords Christian peoples will live in all of the Holy Land, under the New Covenant with God. They will build a new Temple and worship Jesus in it, making sacrifices and offerings as is clearly Written.
ALL before Jesus Returns for His Millennium reign.

Any objections to this scenario, are flat out denials of scripture.

No,they're denials of your interpretation of Scripture.

Where did Jesus say that there would be a 3rd temple and animal sacrifices would begin again?
Why would they need to when Jesus, the Lamb of God, fulfilled the law?

And going to the THIRD Heaven. IS NOT. like going to where Christ. is seated next to. to the FATHER IN HEAVEN .

And PARADISE is in. the third heaven in 2 Cor 12:1-5 and where we GOVERN the. UNIVERSE where we will judge

ANGELS !! And EZE 40-48 when feral does not have the word CHRISTIAN PEOPLE IN THOSE VERSES !!
