All the jobs are overseas. Technology didn't replace them. They got moved to people making a buck a day in a sweatshop in Asia somewhere.

Many went overseas for a time but they won’t be untouched by Ai. I posted an exchange sometime ago with the CEO of BlackRock and the Prime Minster of India. He acknowledged his concerns about humanoid robots and the impact they’d have on their economy. I don’t think you understand how eager they are to displace as many people as they can so they won’t have to pay them.

There was an announcement last week regarding an Ai music label being started by Timbaland. He’s a well-known producer. There’s already firms operating that allow you to license your likeness for a fee. But they’re the anomalies. Most people won’t have that choice.

Most companies don’t have the tech for AI. It’s all too specialized.

It's a bunch of people in suits saying the end is near to get people to think a certain way

There’s a lot of consolidation taking place as we speak and it will be hard to compete for most. The bulk of the jobs at risk are white collar and low skilled positions. I’m looking at the data on a daily basis and there’s white papers confirming the same. I don’t rely on the mainstream media for my information. I‘ll post a source that’s familiar to inform. But I go further than that for myself.

While I don’t use Ai on a personal basis that doesn’t mean I won’t invest in the same. ;-)

I hate adding my aunt to my signature, but she deserves the honor.
If she has been called by God thru faith in Christ, she has entered into eternal life. She has won the race thru him. He has given all honor to her in full <3
If there is anything good or lovely, meditate on that

One of the things the Lord's been showing me lately is look at 'what is the end fruit' of choices. Not in the short-term. But in the long-term. Over generations even. It produces good fruit in the long term, or ultimately destruction (damnation)

I read this today. It’s a good reminder. “You can never dominate and rule your world if you don’t know the power of what you say. Your words are what create your world. And the name you call your problem is what it will answer.”

One more week of classes before my summer vacation begins! I had the option of taking more classes, but decided to take a break. It was hard, because I'm almost completely done, and I could've finished that much sooner.

We went to Costco today and the refrigeration went out and there was no air conditioning either! They had to seal off frozen foods, dairy, quick meals and pull the meat and prepared items too. Thankfully it came back on but the crowd increased and people were standing in front of coolers because it was hot. But the employees were good spirited and no one complained including the customers. It was nice to see a show of support from everyone involved.

I feel like a lot in the older generations of Christians live in a fantasy world where they think b/c you are a Christian, God will make it easy for you & you'll just coast thru life w/ a bump or 2 & most people are Christians too so they will help you.

I don't think that's Christianity & how God works w/ his people

I don't think that's necessarily true, but older generations are definitely far more resilient mentally and emotionally than younger generations.

Alas, I don't think it's a fair conclusion to draw against the older generations when most of them grew up during or post-war during recession, rationing and a host of other things all whilst maintaining their faith and worshipping when and how they could.

I guess. God is faithful thruout the generations. But I think they thought since they made it thru the post-war, everything will be a breeze for their children & that's not reality. They thought they fixed the world's problems. & they think the world is all very Christian too & often you're the only one

Well I think in many ways we have it a lot easier.

Even today there are women being raped by extremists, men and children beinf murdered by Jihadists and prisoners being starved in Russia, soldiers being blown up by drones and riddled with bullets over a patch of land because the salary offered is too good to turn down.

In the grand scheme of things we are unfathomably privileged. If our principle complaint in life is low mood or singleness, we're doing ok
