The protests that have roiled Los Angeles seem to be spreading across the country, as activists gathered Tuesday in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta and elsewhere.

Rallies protesting ICE raids and the government's immigration policies have been planned across California and beyond this week. A series of so-called No Kings demonstrations is planned nationwide for Saturday.

The good news is, since only 400 per 7000 protestors in each region will be throwing bricks and lighting things on fire and trying to start fights with cops, it'll meet the 93% threshold for it to be "largely peaceful"

With enough money and organization they should be able to make it a long hot summer. Predictable as they have the money and the networking. Watch out for brick throwers on highway overpasses and even more clever domestic terrorism.

I remember well the summer of 2020 when I was working near downtown Seattle. It was pretty surreal getting to work day after day. Police blockades everywhere, smoky hazy like a warzone. Had to do some pretty crazy navigating to get there since the freeway and various streets were shutdown.

Or they will just start looting Target stores. That seemed to help their cause.

Not likely. Most of the rest of the country isn’t quite so hardcore like LA.

In my mind this is truly insane beyond measure.

By the time they are done protesting to keep the murderers, rapists, drug and human traffickers from being deported, normal people won't have any heart left for those we might truly want to see stay.

By the time we get to grandma no one will listen or even care anymore.

The best way to prevent it then is to have ICE prioritze murderers, rapists, drug and human traffickers.

As the US military is deployed across cities, President Trump will, for the first time in the nation's history, conduct a military parade with tanks down the streets of our nation's capital.

This was no accident.

There's a reason Home Depots and other bussiness in Los Angeles were targetted for a "30 day" immigration operation....this past weekend.

I expected this to occur and posted the list for sanctuary states, cities and counties a few days ago. I didn’t believe it would end with LA and we’d have a repeat of the same behavior we had a few years ago.

I plan on attending at least one of the No Kings protests in my local area this weekend. While not directly related to the ICE protests, there will be many in attendance bringing attention to that issue. The map you shared looks very similar to the map of planned protests across the country this weekend.

Almost like the whole country is made up of immigrants and families being directly impacted by this administration’s policies. The president who liked to brag “no new wars” is at war with his own country.
