Thats why I said they need an immediate appearance on front of a judge and be deported immediately after. They may not be here illegally under rhe asylum laws, but under the circumstances an immediate removal is necessary.

No it wasnt. If it was truly bi-partisan it would have passed. The bill had serious problems. Problems
that could not be overcome. Thats why it failed.
And right now, Trump is trying to solve the issues created by Democrats. Biden could have done something without the bill being passed. But he didn't. He could have started doing what Trump is, but he didn't. Instead a record number of illegals were let in.
And before you mention it, Congress, no matter who is in charge, has totally failed in addressing this matter. They have FAILED, to address the asylum problems and FAILED to address the immigration laws. THAT is the true Bipartisan failure of congress.

That is a total falsehood. If one truly believes that then its evidence of ones own dislike of Christianity. Its politically biased based upon one's personal belief system that anyone who shines the light upon darkness is hateful.
Thats okay, Jesus said we would be hated for our light becauae it exposes the works of darkness. He said people would do that because they live darkness rather than light.
The light exposes the wickedness in all of us. Without Christ my heart is filled with with darkness. With Christ it is cleased from all unrighteousness.
And all believers are called to love AND expose the works of darkness.

It was set to pass. Trump exerted his influence among Rs to kill it so that the immigration issue could stay hot for the duration of the campaign. The status quo favored him significantly.

I think it quite possible that might have to happen. I'm already a "Bible-hating, Christ denying commie" and the Bishop of the National Cathedral is a "blasphemous pervert." But will have to wait and see. The DOJ has a task force trying to determine who is a "real" Christian. Then we can revisit your assumption that I believe that "all" Christians are guilty of hatred.

Actually many forms of gun control are a problem for law abiding gun owners, which has nothing to do with "Real true Christian Patriots". This is so bigoted its undeniable.
There is plenty of evidence that the left does wish remove guns from the populace. Christian or not. If you use the go back machine, nearly every thread on mass shootings has people saying we need to get rid of guns.
I remember pointing it out.
By the way, I am not a gun person. I own a couple, but I'm not a gun person.
Conservatives in general believe in deporting illegals. Its not a "Christian" position. It's a political position. I would hold the same positions even if I were not a Christian. My father was a pastor and not once did I ever hear a single message on any of the topics you love to associate with "Christian" positions.
Conservatives are not all Christians and not all Christians are Conservatives.
Just like not all Muslims are murdering fanatics.

We have Christians complaining about that silliness while in Muslim countries or China there is REAL persecution going on. Women in this country have it SO good. They could be forced to have a male with them when out in public or put in a burka. Yet the left still whines about discrimination, saying at rhe same time men should be allowed to show off their penis' to them.

Even this terminology invokes your confusion. In your country "the Liberals" are a center right party, where as in mine, "liberals" refers to those on the general left.
The statement that started this was about the *politics* of *American* conservative Christians. As you yourself have noted the *politics* of conservative Christians is different in your country than in ours. The reference was to something that did not apply to the politics of Australian conservative Christians.
It wasn't even a "swipe" at *all* conservative AMERICAN Christians, so pull back on your persecution complex a bit.

Every religion that teaches anything that is contrary to the Scriptures is a false religion. Salvation is through Christ and Christ alone. But I dont hate the people who have been ensnared by those religions. They are just as lost as I was before I believed in Christ as my salvation. I cannot hate the lost.

How so? The Bible spells out the rules for slavery - who and how to enslave biblically. For instance, if you, being Hebrew, buy a Hebrew man, he must be released after seven years or upon Jubilee; however, if he loves the wife that you provided, then he may choose to spend the remainder of his life enslaved. If you buy a Hebrew woman, she is yours for as long as you like but if you stop wanting her service, then set her free or return her as property to her father. If you buy a slave from the non-Hebrews amongst you, you not only get to keep him for his life, but you can pass him and any kids he may have on to your children as their inheritance.

The Bible lays out the rules for acquiring and treating slaves but does not address motivations for getting them (apart from finding virgin girl captives attractive and desirable).

Imprisonment began as the humane option; prisoners were to reflect on the error of their ways. I agree that it is punitive and will never deal with the root problems - apart from those with decent rehab options.

It can be argued that God requires death for certain evil such as gathering firewood on a Sabbath, adultery, losing a war while being of a certain ethnicity - but this appears to be more honored in the breach than the observance...

My understanding is that these biblical rules were improvements upon the previous anything-goes disposition toward slaves. They represented moral progress.
The problem for believers, as I see it, is the whole notion of moral progress challenges the idea a fixed "eternal" morality. And clearly, we now reject the morality of ownership of other humans.
