Why don’t we discuss this using science since this is the appropriate forum. There has been a loss of confidence in government institutions. One farmer I know tells me about the time the temperate dropped to -13C. Everyone in the district was awestruck, out checking gauges, quickly breaking ice in troughs to allow their stock to drink and checking BOM temps online. BOM initially went to -13C. But later in the day BOM reset the online records to -10C. Farmers emailed BOM asking why the temperature was reset. Finally, they were told that the local BOM gauge was technically only ‘rated’ down to -10C, so they retrospectively “capped/floored" the data at -10C. Such events cause ordinary people to lose confidence in government institutions. And don’t ask Australian farmers about the now unrecorded heat records set in the 1880s-90 unless you have half an hour to spare.... Meanwhile other farmers can explain in precise detail how some of their different agricultural practices have moved by many weeks over the decades due to Australia’s changing climate.
Even without having to examine your invisible data for the 1880-90s there is a problem, you are conflating a local event with a global event.
If in the same period farmers from Argentina noted cooler conditions then it is highly probable that La Nina events dominated.
La Nina is characterized by strong trade winds which push warm surface water westward allowing colder water to upwell more intensely along the coast of South America resulting in cooler than average temperatures for the continent.
In the western Pacific warm water piles up leading to warmer than average temperatures for Australia and SE Asia.
Even if La Nina was not the cause but a case of increased solar forcing this leads to another problem, AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming) and natural global warming have different signatures as explained in this post.
Global Warming Denial: Is there a good argument?
Paradoxically the strongest evidence for AGW is based on temperature measurements of the lower stratosphere. While AGW increases the temperature of the troposphere, the lower stratosphere which is immediately above the troposphere is getting colder. This was a prediction made in 1967 before AGW...
In terms of pictures.
Then there is data that shows solar forcing has decreased and one would expect tropospheric cooling yet the very opposite is occurring.
