Wow. Maybe he has something here. Perhaps when NASA tells us that the Universe is still expanding and we are moving incrementally away from the sun, they are just simply lying in an effort to support the leftist commie pinko agenda of Climate Change warnings. It makes sense, if the sun seems hotter, then we must be getting closer (assuming the sun isn't getting hotter). I'm not quite sure what the rotation of the Earth has to do with any of this but it must be a factor if Mr. Wagner says it does. After all he should know what he's talking about as he spent one semester at Williamsport Area Community College before dropping out. That makes him an expert don't you think?Wagner, R-Spring Garden Township, had told his audience, "I haven't been in a science class in a long time, but the Earth moves closer to the sun every year -- you know, the rotation of the Earth. We're moving closer to the sun."
He also said, "We have more people ... you know, humans have warm bodies. So is heat coming off? Things are changing ... but I think we are, as a society, doing the best we can."

Scott Wagner blames body heat, earth moving closer to sun for global warming
He also said the Earth is inching closer to the sun. (It's not)www.ydr.com
Wagner is a Pennsylvania state senator and the republican candidate for governor.
The Earth is not spiraling toward the Sun. In fact, it's moving away by a tiny 5 inches or so every year. And human body heat has absolutely no effect on global temperatures.
As for body heat, there are more people giving off more heat (some more than others) each year. What is his solution to this issue. Should we begin mass killings of people to lower the Earth's temperature? Who should we start with? Might I suggest a government survey to find the hottest individuals and start there?
