Fox News Channel has seen a surge in its share of primetime cable news viewers as the audiences of liberal networks MSNBC and CNN continue bleeding following the presidential election.

Since the Nov. 5 election through Thursday, Fox News has captured a whopping 73% of all cable news primetime viewers, including 71% in the advertiser-coveted demo ages 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research.

It's important to remember that Fox is only the most watched of the three cable channels Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN. Most Americans get their news from the big three broadcast networks ABC, CBS, and NBC. Their numbers crush the cable news networks in daily viewers.

The reports that I've been reading say that most are getting their news from social media; because they know that the legacy media is corporate propaganda.

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt averaged 6.064 million total viewers and 856,000 viewers in the 25-54 age group.

Yeah offices, airports, etc are contracted often to air certain news channels.. in waiting areas etc.

Or, because they don't want to pay for cable and don't even know that broadcast TV is a thing (had to explain this to a Gen Z co-worker of mine). Social media is convenient (they're already browsing it) and gives them news, so they don't bother to seek it out elsewhere.

His real channel is on Rumble. The Youtube channel is just a teaser. He can't speak freely on Youtube because of Left-Wing censorship. Hopefully Team Trump will fix that. In the mean time Youtube is shooting themselves in the foot; as an eye has formed in the winds of change. They'll have to crawl to Musk to pick up the pieces of their business.

Fox News like Russia Today has relatively few actual journalists and is dependent on popular propaganda for its audience numbers. It takes the news from real agencies and puts a conservative slant on whatever it finds. I guess this is an American number as globally CNN is a leader and Fox hardly figures.

Since the election, I have been listening to Fox to try and understand the culture that elected Trump. It has the same vibe as American Football and Baseball to me - only Americans play it. Isolationism with all its accompanying evils looms.

Joe Rogan and Steven Crowder have better ratings than ABC, CBS, and NBC. So what does that say about the publics trust in the MSM?
