If God didn’t intend to tell us how long it took to create the earth He wouldn’t have included any time frame in the creation process. That’s just common sense.

All this shows is that when Jesus said “he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood will have eternal life” wasn’t intended to be taken literally because He didn’t give any parameters that had to be met when He said it because it was a metaphor for receiving Christ within us, not eating bread and drinking wine. So let me ask you one questions. Do we have to receive the Eucharist in order to receive salvation?
Are you saying they couldn’t understand if Moses wrote thousands of hundred thousands of years in Genesis 1 but they could understand it if he wrote it in Genesis 24? As usual I have no clue what your talking about because you always reply in incomplete sentences.
