Biden’s 'My Son Has Not Made Money On China' Was Always A Lie

Not only did Hunter Biden make money on China, but it looks like the sitting President of the United States did too.

One of Joe’s most infamous and specific lies was, “My son has not made money in terms of this thing about — what are you talking about — China,” which he delivered from the stage during the second presidential debate in October 2020.

Since the 2020 presidential face-off, White House visitor logs, testimonies from Biden business partners, and documents obtained by Republicans investigating Biden family corruption contradicting Joe’s original statements have surfaced. Now, Joe’s lies have morphed into calling evidence that he sold political favors to foreign oligarchs a “private” and “personal” matter that only relates to his son.

Why does a certain kind of conservative care so much about Hunter Biden? It's bizarre. I lose no sleep whatsoever thinking about what Barron Trump or Jared Kushner may or may not have done. Get a grip on yourselves. Geez. Hunter Biden is never going to be president, and sooner or later your party is going to have to come up with some actual ideas beyond "Liberals dumb, bad". It's getting pathetic.

Same reason a certain kind of Democrat has spent the last six years complaining about Jared, Ivanka, Don Jr. Eric, Baron et Al.

People loose moral ground complaining about something they have complained about for most of a decade.

How did they sell political favors in 2017 when Joe wasn't in office? Or is there some other specific incident you're referring to?

He rode on Air Force 2 (with his dad) to China and met with certain entities over there that ended up making him some money in the long run.

While Trump lied about the extent of the profiting (claiming it was over a billion dollars which isn't true), he did still end up making over $4 million off of whatever business relationship he built while he was over there.

I think this is a case of Trump doing the "they've got some dirt on me, so I'm going to wildly exaggerate some dirt on them to deflect attention from my misdeeds", which predictably caused some on the left to immediately reject the whole the story, despite their being some small nuggets of truth in it.

Oh, so when Joe said that he didn’t know about Hunter’s business deals and said that Hunter didn’t make money from China (proving that he didn’t know about Hunter’s business deals) it’s a “lie”, somehow.

I don't think one month as an outgoing president is going to be an opportunity to convey too many political favors. I wouldn't rule it out, but he's going to be pretty busy packing and transitioning. And I'm not concerned about the other one.

Mind you, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Joe lied to the American public about knowing something about the business deals. That's unethical, but not a crime. I'm just not seeing sufficient evidence of influence peddling while in office from the OP. We need a clear sign of shady dealing at some time when Joe was in office.

I didn't realize that Hunter was an official or de facto White House staff member... like Jared, Ivanka, and Don Jr. were.
