He rode on Air Force 2 (with his dad) to China and met with certain entities over there that ended up making him some money in the long run.

While Trump lied about the extent of the profiting (claiming it was over a billion dollars which isn't true), he did still end up making over $4 million off of whatever business relationship he built while he was over there.

I think this is a case of Trump doing the "they've got some dirt on me, so I'm going to wildly exaggerate some dirt on them to deflect attention from my misdeeds", which predictably caused some on the left to immediately reject the whole the story, despite their being some small nuggets of truth in it.

Oh, so when Joe said that he didn’t know about Hunter’s business deals and said that Hunter didn’t make money from China (proving that he didn’t know about Hunter’s business deals) it’s a “lie”, somehow.

I don't think one month as an outgoing president is going to be an opportunity to convey too many political favors. I wouldn't rule it out, but he's going to be pretty busy packing and transitioning. And I'm not concerned about the other one.

Mind you, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Joe lied to the American public about knowing something about the business deals. That's unethical, but not a crime. I'm just not seeing sufficient evidence of influence peddling while in office from the OP. We need a clear sign of shady dealing at some time when Joe was in office.
