Well first of all your first link doesn't tell us what the jobs were or what the bachelor's degrees were in, or even the school where they went.

I mean I've even heard it on this forum from leftists that if you don't have a degree from certain schools they are not interested in what you have to say.

And what your degree is in also matters as to the kinda of jobs you get.
It's kind of a useless article just written to claim that there is this gigantic systemic racist bias in all these places.

"Certain schools" like top law schools.
The top law firms won't interview anyone
who didn't perform near the top of their
class in one of the best law schools.

Your second link has the typical study on names. Ana already addressed that and I'd like to add another thing. Nothing is provided as to what names were used particularly for the white people. What names did they use? I'd like a list. Did they use names like

Antonin Svobodova
Vonislav Pospisil
Magdalena Kowalski
Olowia Wojciechowski
Jeronim Crnkovic
Genevieve Dubois
Audrienne Archambault

Those are white people names. What names were used? I think they van spin the outcomes of these things to what they want based upon the names used just to be able to say, "see it's systemic racism".

Examples? Or am I supposed to assume because you said it, therefore it is true.
Yeah I guess you have no clue what is going on around you. You think it's all hunky dory but corporate America runs the politicans

I'm not racist....again it seems like you're just assuming that because I'm white.
I am assuming that because you are trying to convince us that racism isn't happening.

Being white doesn't make anybody a racist. It takes a long history of disparaging attacking black people to do that. Like your recent post here where you wondered just how many of the black students at Harvard could have even gotten into the school without affirmative action and when you found out it was about 25 students in the current class you went into denial.

I've pointed out racism happening.

What I'm actually showing though is not only how little people care about it...but who actually excuses and supports it.

Brave....so brave. Let's hear it for @SilverBear

It takes a long history of disparaging attacking black people to do that.

Oh ok....what about a long history of disparaging and attacking white people??

Could we say those people are racist?

Like your recent post here where you wondered just how many of the black students at Harvard could have even gotten into the school without affirmative action

That's a reasonable question one would need to ask in response to your statement.

and when you found out it was about 25 students in the current class you went into denial.

No...it said only 25 were below the minimum standards. It didn't say "we only let these 25 in because of affirmative action and no one else ever benefits from affirmative action".

See the wide difference between what was said and what you claimed?

It's rather rare to see hiring managers openly admitting to racism. We know that will affect outcomes regardless of college degree because those are the literal gatekeepers of employment.

It's rare....because back when we pursued the idea that all racism was bad....being racist was so taboo you didn't risk your job or reputation for it.

Now however, we excuse some racism....directed at some groups....and that racism has become widespread and openly admitted to.

I should clarify that when I say "we" I don't mean me.

You've said that already! You're repeating the same thing over and over; it's time to back it up with an outside source, or just admit it is your opinion. Sorry but your word just isn't good enough.

I think you have missed the topic of this thread. The topic of this thread is not "does racism still exist?" The topic is "Does systemic racism exist?"

If the topic was does racism exist it would be a very short thread. Cause all of us would most likely say yes, racism exists.

So no one here is trying to convince you or anyone that racism does not exist.

Neither does this:

but you take it as gospel. Why?

This was a survey from actual managers where they actually admitted to doing it and what they were asked to do by their business.

It's not an article simply looking at statistics without any clarification.
